Perhaps you should have done the same in that other thread, right? Kind of hard to yelp about that here when you stomped over the other thread re: podcasts there. Perhaps that issue escaped notice.

Dont get me wrong, I wholly subscribe to your 'compartmentalizing' thread topics. I am glad you defend your thread topic.

But, you seemingly forget in your spirited defense of your 'pod' thread how you kind of went completely against your mantra of 'thread purity' by traipsing your 'pod topic' into the other thread.

Perhaps you might think of those actions of yours there before your chastising OO here, in light of you doing pretty much what you complain about here.

I think I will record a podcast on 'thread nationalism', and the purity of the thread content is paramount.

Slow Burn has a new season out. This season deep dives in the the Biggie-2pac rivalry, and I've got high hopes after two really interesting seasons diving into Nixon and Bill Clinton.

The first episode had good content, but was a bit slow. Hopefully things pick up.

Fountains -- I'm not looking for an 'apology', this is a free country and everything. In fact I agree with your topic defense.

I dont think you dropped your 'how many podcasts do *you* listen to' to 'pick a fight' or an adverse response in the slightest. But I do find your defense of 'thread purity' here to OO to be mildly amusing in light of your 'thread topic' intrusion there.

Kind of like my neighbor who always uses my backyard hose on his veggies there, but then scolds me for using his hose on my lemon grass in the front.

I tried listening to the podcast at The Roost. Got about halfway through.

I think even if a podcast were on a subject I was intensely interested in, it would be too slow and time consuming for me to deal with.

Just me.

I have one podcast that I listen to with some regularity. It is a local one with interviews with successful local entrepreneurs. Otherwise I'm with OO. It's just not a medium that appeals to me.

If you're interested in entrepreneurship, I've heard good things about How I Built This.

Any good sports podcast recs out there? More into things that spend at least some time commenting on sports in a cultural context than typical sports talk radio stuff. Or it could just be funny.
