Yeah, it's a very good list now.

I hope he is worthy...and I agree it's good publicity...but he has not played a minute of CBB and he's already an all-american?

Well it's preseason. None of the players on that list have played a game this year. Even the ones that played last year could have a bad year or get injured.

You're right. That was my original point. Preseason lists are worthless. It just drives traffic to a website.

Why don't 7'0 guys get the hype that they used to? Not saying James doesn't get his due credit, but there isn't as much hype around really big guys in the game anymore.

My guess is that guys like Steph Curry have shown that skill is more valuable than size in the game.

Sadly, the game has shifted away from traditional bigs and defense. Most games just look like a shooting exhibition.

Wiseman is preseason 1st team All-American but not worthy enough to be 1st team All-Conference. Hmmmmm!!

As unpredictable as the pre-season lists are (and some would say worthless unless "your" player is on it) it is interesting that none on the AAC list (other than J Wiseman) made the AP All American 1st Team list. Even the predicted POY for AAC.... Hmmmmmmm....

I hope he's on the list after the season.
