Tells it like it is and he even takes a subtle jab at Harry by mentioning attendance was on a “picture perfect” day. That was funny.

A pair of fans were wearing these shirts yesterday.

Front: In Memory of Bobby's ODU Coaching Career (or something like that)
Back: Bye Bye Bobby

RE: Coaching Protest Idea - Thoughts
While walking out of the stadium a pair of women asked what the score was when we left (I guess they had been walking around prior) and they were like "program needs a gut job, top down." I chatted for a second and she goes, paraphrasing, "he wouldn't listen to alumni when they told him about local kids!" Not sure if that's a mom or aunt with hurt feelings or not. I would be shocked if he's around after Dec 3rd. Having said that I agree with Teel about a self-less act of redshirting Kumah. Despite the state of the program I believe Wilder has done an awesome job at grooming young men and establishing a culture around that. Sadly that's not what keeps a program alive.

Hmmmm
Sounds suspiciously like ODUTrueBlue and his group of hooligans. I wouldn't put it past them. 03-lmfao

BW needs to be fired immediately and Blackwell promoted. Period end of story. Pay the $ and move on. If we are an FBS program we have the money to get this done. Not 1 person has confidence in BW anymore.

I say let's get a head coach with a proven track record of recruiting and winning at this level. Blackwell in as much as he's improved our defense has never been a head coach. It would be no different than replacing Bobby with Bobby.

The guy and his wife sit a couple of rows below us. They are season ticket holders (not ODUTB btw) and have been wearing opposing team gear and rooting against BW at every home game so far this year. Yesterday they both wore those shirts...the guy said he couldn’t find any FAU gear so they switched to those shirts. Can’t say I really blame them...

I sit in section 216 and noticed them about ten rows down from me. Did you hear the drunk women berating them for a good twenty mins (about ten rows up from them on the isle in the same section)? And then she disappeared for the rest of the game - probably went home to pass out.

The front of the shirt read: “In Memory of Bobby Wilder’s...” (couldn’t read the rest from the distance).

Tasteless.

Now, a shirt that reads, "We Beat Norfolk State" sends the same message but stays classy.

I know from a first hand account from someone associated with the program that in the early years of the program there was a conscious decision made to stop recruiting so many local kids. This was years ago at this point, and it seems they have backtracked on that a bit, but I am sure there are some hurt feelings that were never repaired.

You still haven't articulated how this would benefit the program. Seems like you just want a scalp and aren't willing to wait until the season is over to get it.

I have to believe money is too tight to make the change during the season. I also wonder if we may have to take a away/$$ game next season to fund the new coach(es) salaries rather than beat the existing donors to death. We have an open date, right? Think I saw that we have the highest Athletic Department budget and Wilders comp was 12th out of 13 (Rice did not disclose).
