It's the first time Michigan State was Number 1 in a Preseason Poll.

KenPom has them 107th. KenPom has Michigan State first, and 24.33 points better than UCLA at a neutral site. KenPom thinks UCLA is closer to Florida A&M, who is 342nd of 353, than to Michigan State.
