Heck I'm still pleased as Punch that UB *MIGHT* make a bowl game this year and it seems like our floor is now 5-6 wins instead of 0-2...

Fire him for what, hes 500 with two bowls in the past four years... He has been building the Eagles into a solid MAC west program
Ignore Bob. He's our local contrarian that says stupid stuff just to get under people's skin.
Compare Creighton's record to English's or Genyk's--neither of whom had close
to the funding that Creighton enjoys. Talking tough and looking earnest is great, but bottom line, do you win?
Ok lets do that, let's look at the last three full seasons for each...
Genyk - 8-28 no bowls
English - 9-24 no bowls
Creighton - 19-19 two bowls
It's very likely EMU gets to 6-6 again this season. The last time EMU had a four year span of football in which the Egales / Hurons went 500 was the mid 80's.
The guy has not earned a job for life but it seems silly to be calling for his head at this point. How about you enjoy a few years of competitive football and bowl games, build interest, and then decide maybe he's not enough.
My thoughts exactly. CC earned his contract extension. I would prefer it if his record and other accomplishments earn him another.

The Bull and Tom bowled the strike! Creighton has elevated the football program not only in the W-L department but has marketed it with the outside activities as well. To this point, he has earned his money.

The program is stable - something that we were desperately in need of. We arent bottom feeders. We arent an automatic homecoming win. We arent embarrassing (most weeks haha). Now if he goes back and forth between 5-7 and 7-5 for the next 10 years maybe ill get sick of it. but for now - im pleased.
