Pffff the Concord game is the crown jewel of the home schedule. They should be doing premium ticket pricing for that one. Like the Reds do when the Cards and Cubs come to town.

All I hear anymore is how today’s athlete is bigger faster and stronger. If that’s the case why the hell can’t they stay healthy? Why is “load management” a thing?

I think younger athletes get pushed more earlier and then get the repetitive motion type injuries. I also think most sports are more physical than they were in the past. My daughter is a pretty good high school soccer player and has had a broken ankle, badly sprained ankle that screwed up an entire season and a concussion. I am hoping she gets through her senior year healthy.

Went to the BB Team Review tonight. Sendy has done one heck of a job in rebuilding this team in one year. They played a regular scrimmage with officials and the team was divided into 2 teams. Peterson and Pippen were held out due to injuries although they will be ready. I saw two good teams built from one. Yes I said that. Get ready for depth and speed. This group likes to run and shoot and the coach seems to like it that way. Maybe it is because there are so many shooters on this team. I do not know where Sendy found these new players but what a job he has done. If anyone has a question about a particular player, just ask and I will opine. Anyway, get ready for some fun.

Obviously ... what do the new guys look like ... not the freshmen, but the jucos and transfers that should play.

Got my season tickets in the mail the other day... Then got an apology email because apparently they printed all season tickets with the same seat number for the Akron game. Yes, that's the one game all year where your seat number matters because there will be a bigger turnout. That's not going to be a nightmare for the ushers I'm sure...

Long time season ticket holder. No tickets received as I write this. Email they sent a total joke. A DIII program would Handle better. This Athletic Dept again shows they are in total disarray . Suck it up reprint the tickets. End of story. Same as FH debacle. Finish the game, cancel fireworks. Come on Kent you need to be better than this, And mail season tickets before season starts

They need to reprint the Zippy game tix. This will be a nightmare if they don't. The game isn't until Jan 31st, plenty of time to right the wrong

Agree, but added cost to reprint might take a bite out of JN Bonus. Athletic Dept is a mess. Really a shame , KSU Admin has really dropped the ball on the allegations.

For what it's worth, the screw up at least appears to only be cosmetic. The barcode on my two akron tickets is visually different. So their scanners won't reject a bunch of people at the door for having duplicate tickets at least.

Do you people think JN should be proof reading the seat numbers on all the basketball tickets? Good lord folks. Find something productive to ***** about.

Of course he doesnt proof read tickets. BUT he put a low level person in charge and this is what you get. I bet it was a GA who had the job. The department has been decimated so you get what you pay. One overpriced AD and a bunch of underpaid, overworked employees.

JN is supposed to be the boss, the buck stops with him. He doesn’t set the fireworks off at Football either but that is on him, along with the terrible handling of the aftermath. For his salary he should be taking responsibility instead of constantly blaming others . BTW I wouldn’t trust him to proofread tickets. Guessing the printer messed up, not about to lay off on a GA . Again handling of error once discovered awful, they stated they would let ushers deal with it. Give me a break.

To be clear, me bringing this up wasn't about Nielsen. I think it's worth talking about though because it could legitimately cause problems at the Akron game. I think every year I have to ask people to move that have squated in my seats at that game. Now I won't have tickets to prove it. To make matters more comical, it's a 6:30 game on a Friday so getting their early means leaving work early.

CALL ME CRAZY .... but it seems like I know a lot more about JN than I do about this basketball team???

They probably needed some time to sort out a mistake they couldn't control. Hopefully the printer is coming up with a suitable solution for season ticket holders.

Side note: Plenty of national press related to Bennett's contributions vs Hiram. Was happy to see that.
