Louisville City FC has an "important announcement" scheduled at Noon Eastern on Tuesday at Lynn Family Stadium with NWSL President Amanda Duffy. Reportedly Louisville is set to join in 2021.

Sacramento is apparently set to join for 2020, but no announcement has been made - could we get an announcement Monday on the coat tails of the MLS announcement?

A loaded ownership group that features a slew of former U.S. women's national team stars (including Mia Hamm, Abby Wambach, Julie Foudy and Lauren Holiday), celebrities (including founder Natalie Portman, Eva Longoria, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Garner and Uzo Aduba) and industry leaders (including Kara Nortman, Julie Uhrman and Alexis Ohanian) and many more will steward the league's 2022 expansion team in the city, which for now is going by the moniker Angel City.

The Athletic is reporting that the Utah Royals are relocating to Kansas City. Home matches will be played at the home of the independent minor league baseball team, the T-Bones. The same facility was a temporary home for what is now Sporting Kansas City.

The Utah Royals were awarded as an expansion team after FC Kansas City folded in 2017, but the Royals inherited FCKC's roster.

A Salt Lake paper is reporting that the name and rights to re-establish the Utah Royals FC in 2023 is an option after the RSL sale has been completed.
