Aw leave the poor guy alone. Let him enjoy his bonuses. After next year he'll be sitting on the sidewalk out in front of HuskyU's apartment with a tin cup.

Unfortunately for him, there are no more teams left on UConn’s schedule tanking this season.

1-6 UMass up next. They giving up 49.9 points per game, trying to crack our record breaking 2018 season (50.4).

Baby steps. If UConn wins an FBS game he gets a $1,000,000.00 bonus. I looked it up.

I can become a Professional Useless Employee if you pay me. I'm just looking for the right opportunity to add no value and be worthless, like Edsall, and get paid.
PM me and I'll send my resume.

Smart contract given the state of the program and him only getting a $1 Mil base salary.

Agree. Also there was this little nugget:
Quote:In addition, Edsall’s base salary each year increases by the amount of bonuses he received the previous season, up to $100,000.
Benedict didn't expect Edsall to come in and win a lot of games to begin with. The contract has performance based incentives, not win based, entirely.

I know they are bemoaning Edsall's teams losing and him getting money, but any bitching about him becomes hollow once you consider that his program was torpedoed by the school's basketball powers.
so yeah... cool story Berkowitz, big man going after such low hanging fruit.

Been there, done that.
For decades basketball drove the decisions at Memphis. It's only been recently (since the Big East deal) that we decided football and basketball could live in harmony and both be successful.
