RE: OFFICIAL NIU-Miami (Ohio) GAME thread !!!!!!!!
This team put up a a fight. But it's too depleted to win games. I'm confident we can do better next year. Especially when we get more beef on the line and a some key defensive people back.

Any word on Bowers?
Frustrating on offense overall because I just don’t feel the big play spark. We move it good and all seems well. It end up throwing up low or mid 20s for points. Remember the days 35+ was expected
Also, what the hell is .276 dude mean?

RE: OFFICIAL NIU-Miami (Ohio) GAME thread !!!!!!!!
I finally saw the game and that was a bad head shot Bowers took. He looked about like AJ Sebastiano stumbling off the field. He has to consider whether it's worth the risk to come back this season given that Detroit is out the window. They're playing for the Camelia Bowl at this point and he has the rest of his life to think about.
With the exception of the second half against Ohio the offense has been doodoo all season regardless of who's at quarterback. The coaches really need to sit down in the offseason and figure this thing out because it's just not working. They look out of sync all the time.
I have no idea what Richie and Cole did but if it was something that reflects poorly on the university I say see ya. Coach Hammock needs to set the tone early in his tenure.

If it’s sunny, I guess 11K to 13K. If we get the usual rain, I guess 6K to 7K. Then again, it depends on how NIU counts attendance and if their scanners are working. But, if the fans know about the hot dog shortage before the game, attendance will be at the 2K to 3K level.
You are sad.
And you are a douche.
Cheer up bud. All good here.... just tired of reading your negative posts.
Go Huskies....we will win a game next week.
I understand. But I’m a realist and I don’t like to lose. These games are supposed to be fun and entertaining, and they are the farthest thing from them. I will be at the game next week because that will be my last game this year. Do I hope for a win? Of course! Do I expect a win handed to us on a silver platter? No. The realist in me says that with all the injuries, suspensions, and bonehead coaching decisions, nothing will be easy.
I feel your pain Dogfan.
One has to have faith that this team is in good hands and will return to its winning ways. Whether it is next week or next year NIU football will improve.
NIU should beat Akron next week, however if we lose it is not the end of NIUfootball.
