Interesting. Richmond gets Yale to visit the breadbox.
I’d be all for the Dukes bringing in a Yale, Harvard, or Princeton.

I wonder what the contract terms look like

A couple of interesting games there. UNH/UD and Yale vs. the Ticks top my list of must sees.

Keyhole is starting for the chickens (Henderson is hurt), so UNH should run away with this one. I hope the Ticks represent the conference well. The CAA shouldn't be losing to any Ivy League teams.

I know its already been talked about on here several times how the Ivy claims academic interference as to why they don’t participate in the playoffs. Yet all their other sports teams, including fall, participate in the postseason. The academics is a BS excuse- seems they’re just too chickenshit- afraid of getting beaten by some I-AA state school in the 1st round. The 1 time I will be rooting for RU.

You’re right. But UD barely beat Penn 28-27.
Last season Maine, despite being a semifinalist, lost @ Yale 35-14.
VU used to play Penn every year, & usually won handily.

I actually wondered who the ivy scheduled this year and looked it up the other night.

Zero FBS games. Most OOC were:
the Patriot League (regional, junior ivyies their alum think are “good enough” schools to associated with.
Pioneer Football League (not regional but many of these schools are non-scholarship with good to great academic reputations. Guaranteed to not be competitive in most instances.)
NEC (Regional. Some schools have good reputations.)
Some northern CAA (URI, UNH, UR, Maine mainly. Old time rivals and that’s probably the only excuse from the ivy side.)

That’s about it. They schedule most of the Patriot and NEC, some of the CAA and PFL, that’s it.

Until the ivies realize their **** does in fact stink, zero chance they schedule a public university that they’ve never had a history of playing before who is a near guarantee to beat them and probably blow them out.

It’s the same stuffy bull**** excuses you get from UVA. Too scared to play.

I remember Kevin White saying we had talked to Columbia but obviously that series never ended up happening.

RE: Week 8 CAA & Other Games
If I was a poll voter, I wouldn’t include any Ivies, as they don’t want to participate with the rest of FCS in regards to the playoffs. I wouldn’t say the same about the MEAC and SWAC, as the MEAC has had an AQ in the past, and they’re willing to send their 2nd place teams if they’re offered an At Large.

Delaware defense looking decent. Last two NH punts were not returned, so no NH coverage issues of late. Still 3 to 0 DEL in 2nd.

6 min left in first half. NH ties DEL 3 all after NH get interception on Del 34 yard line. NH didn't move ball but a few yards. Kicked a 44 or 45 yard FG.

WVU hanging with #5 Oklahoma at halftime, 28-14. Just like against us, the Mounties are one-dimensional. But, they have put together two long drives against OK, who has had two drives stuffed by the Couchburners. The difference has been Sooner QB Jalen Hurts who is 11 for 12 passing and 64 yards rushing on 8 totes (8 YPC).
