Why in the hell would UCF want to play an FBS program as bad as UConn? It kills your strength of schedule. And on top of it pay a million dollars to do it. Very odd there has to be more to the story.

I mean we pay our annual FCS opponent between 500-700K.

1M for an FBS opponent doesn't strike me as newsworthy.

Maybe UConn was the only FBS who would go there for 1MM. Or at least the only "higher level" one.

We turned them down, didn't need the money
