The question is why are the Democrats so afraid of Gabbard? Its not like she is top 3 or even top 6.

Aside from that, it likely helps the democrats if she runs 3rd party. The only people I have encountered that would consider voting for Tulsi are Trump voters. Frankly, I think Kamala Harris was the Clinton pick and she is just mad that Tulsi delivered her knockout blow. When the Clintons lose its never their fault.

Yeah that's pretty bad on her behalf. She also said Jill Stein is a Russian asset. It might just backfire and give Gabbard some extra support.

Maybe the Russians poisoned the water at one of the 2016 presidential debates? Both of the folks running in 2016 now seem to be lacking all their functioning brain cells.

I lean democrat? Really?

I have asked for a democrat ballot in two primaries and voted for Hillary both times--2008 to try to stop Obama and 2016 to stop Bernie. But both were lesser of evils situations, not done because I was FOR Hillary or any other democrat.

Oh yes, I also voted for Leticia vandePutte instead of Dan Patrick for LtGov in 2014, because I had worked with both of them, and one of them is not an idiot.

It's not irrational at all. It's very calculated. For one, it is a projection. Clearly Hillary has been the one with Russian ties and has tried to use a Russian disinformation campaign against Trump. Second, when all of the nut cases have run their course in the Democratic primary who stands in her way? Gabbard is one of the few voices of reason within the Democratic party and once Warren, Biden, and Sanders are all written off as unelectable it leaves a void for 2024 that somebody like a Tulsi Gabbard might fill.

So Hillary is trying to distract attention away from her own past sins and relationship with Russia and is simultaneously attacking one of the only credible democrats left in the field and one that might be a rising star in 2024.

Hillary is not insane. She is criminally immoral and narcissistic.

I doubt we see Hillary in 2020. She couldn't survive loosing to Trump twice. In 2024 she won't have to face Trump. The Democrats will be looking for a unifying figure and she may think, in spite of her age, that it is the optimum time for her next candidacy. Recent trends have been that the party vacating power after 8 years loses the next election. We'll see.

No you wouldn't. In that case you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. What the Democrats need next time around is a person like Gabbard. Young people, women, veterans, and some minorities identify with her and yet she isn't polarizing to middle class America.

I'm hearing rumors that Tulsi may run for VP on a libertarian ticket with Justin Amash. They would get my vote. I don't like Trump, but there is no democrat that I would even consider. And Texas won't be close, or if it is, then nationally it won't be close. So I can vote libertarian, hope they get as many votes as they can to legitimize the party, and pray to God that Trump wins.

Doesn’t make much sense for her to do that...it’s career suicide. Amrash has his libertarian chops to fall back on. She’d be excommunicated from the DNC. She’s be done politically for what would amount to playing sideshow bob.
