Lee,
Moderators make judgement calls to the best of our abilities. One day something may strike me as too much and another day the same thing maybe funny. The thing is...this is a private board and the volunteer moderators can make these decisions without a meeting to decide is this fair or not. It doesn't harm or violate anyone, it is the terms you agreed to when you joined our community.
I don't owe anybody anything on this board. You are welcome to participate just like everyone else and if we are a little heavy handed with your post it's because you have been a little over the top in the past. I thought your poll on lou and tommy was fine and I cleaned it up a bit so people would participate in the pole. Make your posts on topic and not so crude and you'll be fine.
Peter

Lee,
This isn't about Kev or Clear Channel. Kev didn't post this and doesn't endorse opinions expressed by thousands of posters on this board. Nor can he police them all. Bulletin Boards have this sort of thing on them. It's not news or credible...it's just a discussion by people who don't even use their real names. There seems to be a civil discussion following the rather tasteless poll but if it gets your blood pressure up please don't login.
Thank you
Peter Hamlett

What's the excuse now? Nothing against Shula, but I thought alabama said they wanted stability? Would Mike Shula bring more stability than Sylvester Croom?

Who's more qualified? This is the reason affirmative action is needed, especially in the south. Southerners stuck in the old southern mind set refuse to do the right thing. Tommy Bowden blasted alabama on Jim Rome's show. He should know, he coached in the sec. He said they should have hired Croom to keep the rich old racist conservative crackas away from the program. They're the ones halting progress and positive change.
Black players should avoid going to southern schools. Just like Jesse said, they have no life or legitimate chance at being involved at the collegiate level off the field in the sec.

I've seen a horsefly!
It seems to me that given the competitive nature of college footsball, if a guy comes along that can produce championships, he'll be hired and earn tons of money ~ regardless of his race, creed or ethnic background.
