...the first QB at Tulane start and lead the team left handed. Tulane fans are confront their unconscious biases and accept a player who throws with the "wrong hand." #Brave#StandwithJM

The fact that an LSU transfer goes to Tulane, does well, and somehow has BOTH fanbases in his corner is a testament to...

1. His character as a player
2. The friendly ending to the Tiger Rag rivalry

My post is of coarse satire mainly aimed at BYU QB thing.
JM was an afterthought to the LSU. The rivalry is on hiatus as the Tulane football program has largely been on hiatus since the early 80's. Don't think for a moment that if Tulane's gets consistently good again LSU fans won't turn into a psycho jealous lover. They don't really want anyone else to come close them on the field.
Jm is a winner plain and simple. Glad, glad, glad we got him.

Most LSU fans were semi upset that we didn't get ranked. It's not the world of the 1980s.

LSU won't get mad unless we play them again in FB. That won't happen again for at least 6 more years.

Dual fanship is going to be what happens when Tulane turns the corner as the two programs can grow considerably in parallel with one another.

Nah, LSU is just good again for a moment and so don’t mind be humble and gracious. As soon as they have a season where they lose 4+ games and Tulane is in the the top 25, the calls for the series to start again will arise and we’ll see how much humility the LSU fans have (spoiler- zero).

Louisiana has a population of 4.5 million. The amount of players that make it to the NFL from Louisiana is remarkable. On a per capita basis LA & MS are at the top.
Why should Louisiana be the only Southern state with one P5 team?
