Just saw something on Bleacher Report in regard to the transfer portal...something like 20% of the kids who entered it, have found new programs.

I think the BG QB is heading to WVU.

Bowling Green QB did sign with West Virginia. I have not been able to find out any information about McCrimmon. Anybody know his status?

It can’t be. People say “We need to join the Blank Conference” when the Blank Conference hasn’t extended an invitation. Doesn’t work that way. In all the realignment moves no interest has been shown in any MAC team.

If the University's 10-year plan actually comes to fruition, and we build brand new, state-of-the-art baseball & softball stadiums on campus, that's certainly a step in the right direction to let the nation know Toledo means business. That's the type of investment that we need to make to attract a bigger & better conference (i.e. the American Conference).

So sarcasm it was. Thought it had to be something like that. I got confused when you said they "don't work out well." They don't happen. Well, maybe Columbus St could tell the MAC they were joining the conference but that's not likely.


I imagine what InductChuck was saying, we need to find a way to entice an invite AND accept it.

Without transfers UT bball wouldn't have rebuilt around Rian Pearson and won a MAC Co-Championship. We wouldn't have had 2 years of one of the best dunkers in recent college basketball history in JD Weatherspoon. We would have fallen off badly after Boothe graduated without Stevie Taylor giving us a strong post presence. And we wouldn't have had the really enjoyable (although disappointing injury ending) season of Tre Fletcher that nearly resulted in an NCAA berth. Yeah, we'd also have 3/5 of next year's starting lineup. And, if Adway hadn't left, no AJ Edu. Transfers in hoops have been a net positive for UT big time.

Well put. My thoughts exactly. UT has been making it a positive. It has been a win for UT.

Hopefully, McCrimmon comes on back. Having the opportunity to actually be on the other side of the fence may create a renewed passion for a return.

I doubt UT has a spot open for mcCrimmon

There is a Michigan QB that recently put his name in the transfer portal. I would not be surprised to see him end up at BGSU. If not, the new coach has other connections and will likely be able to get a graduate transfer to go there.

I saw on the news tonight they reeled in a grad transfer OL. Ch 11 talked like it's kind of a big deal.

Osu safety Isaiah Pryor is done for the year and will transfer. I have not heard anything bad about him. I think we should look into him

MSU wide receiver Cam Chambers has entered the transfer portal. I believe he a graduate transfer.
That would give him immediate eligibility. Or maybe I’m whacky
