HARBS
My favorite run of the year, thus far, was when Trey ran to the one yard line, on Huskie's last T.D. Drive of the game. On that play he was hit twice in the backfield, but kept moving...hard, big time running.

If he stays healthy, and things fall the right way I think he can end on up top 5 all time for rushing yards. Feel, he will have big game Saturday.

It's funny, think with this team you utilize the pass to set up a running game..usually, other way around.

Go Huskies!

RE: HARBS
I thought that coach Hammock's comments in this week's press conference about Harbs were interesting.

The O line was doing its job in both halfs
Harbs was failing to hit the holes that were open and in the areas that should be expected based on practice
Harbs was not running tough enough in the first half
Coach Hammock got after him
Harbs had a good second half
Hammock stated that he will be impressed with Harbs when/if he puts together 4 rather than 2 quarters of solid play
Hammock said that this has now happened in two games

I might be seeing what I want to see but I think that given time NIU's offense will thrive with our current coaching staff. It might take a while though.

RE: HARBS
Coach Hammock is not wrong, Harbison misses the hole regularly. I love how hard he runs but once he improves his vision he will get those 200 yards per game.

I think if he was a little more patient, he would have many more long runs.sometimes he just runs straight forward with or without a hole. In the second half, he found the holes

RE: HARBS
Seems like it takes him a bit to change direction and hit the cutback lane. I like how hard he ran in the 2nd half though. Was Nettles injured? I watched replays of Nettles in earlier games and he was starting to show his stuff. I think he is a good complement to Harbs. (I think it's funny people call him "Harbs". But I guess that's better than "Canada")

RE: HARBS
After re-watching the Ohio game it wasn’t Harbison running harder and breaking tackles he was always doing that. He always runs hard and physical. The two TE formation really opened up the passing game and the running game. When the TEs torched Ohio in the passing game it really opened lanes for Harbs. Crawford and Brinkman are also much better blockers than any of the WRs we have. Crawford really stood out with his blocks. There was just a lot more room and options for our offense. I loved the two TEs stacked on the strong side. They usually threw from that formation but I salivate are the thought of running to that side. It’s just a tremendous adjustment getting our best personnel on the field and playing to our strength. I don’t buy any of this junk about Harbs not playing hard or not breaking tackles. He’s always done that...
