Describing medicine in the Congo as witchcraft has obvious racial overtones.

Another defense racists often use is that they're too stupid to understand how race factors into comments that don't explicitly mention race.

Unfortunately, racism is inherently stupid.

I have heard nothing but assuming it was a standard heart procedure. Glad he in Cincinnati which has some of the best hospitals in the world. Praying that Prince recovers 100 percent and gets to enjoy basketball in his immediate future.

I wonder if he would be able to play this season? We could certainly use the size.

He still had heart surgery only 3 weeks ago. I cant imagine any doctor clearing him to play this year

Even if he was cleared to play, it likely wouldn't be till at least halfway through the conference schedule based on Shareef O'Neal's recovery (who also had a heart procedure last year). I don't think he'll have an issue applying for a medical redshirt which would give him the 6th year of eligibility. I would keep him out till next season assuming his heart is still capable of playing high-major basketball post-surgery.

Great to see his recovery. By all accounts a great young man.

I’m not sure basketball this season or possibly any is a priority right now.

He looks better than I did three weeks after heart surgery. He looks about 2 months to me.

Ah, to be young and in athletic shape.
