Ball State - Toledo historic footnote
One of the most historic games in Ball State football history came on Homecoming, Saturday, Oct. 9, 1993, in Muncie. Toledo dominated for three quarters, leading 30-3 at the end of the third quarter. But despite having the ball for fewer than 4 minutes in the 4th quarter, the Cardinals roared back behind the arm of quarterback and current head coach Mike Neu to score 28 points and win on a touchdown pass on the last play of the game, 31-30. Neu threw for 469 yards, still a Ball State record. The 28-point comeback was and remains the all-time Ball State record comeback. The Cardinals went on to win the MAC title that year. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, is Homecoming at Ball State. And once again the Rockets will be back in town.

Good memory you have.
Ball State has been a toe stubber for us a few times in Toledo history. The election night in 2012 really hurt as y'all came in and took our ranking and MAC West lead away from us. In 2013 Wenning carved us up. The win streak is at 5....but I guess those don't matter do they?

You don't forget a game like that, even if your memory has slipped a notch or two. Really looking forward to the game Saturday. Let's hope it's another good one in a history of some really great ones. Thanks for the reference to winsipedia. That's an interesting depository of Information for college football would-be historians.
