7. UAB- UTSA was a little to close for comfort. ODU on the Sched this week. (LW 7)

Too close for comfort? We won by 19 and was up 23-14 going into the 4th quarter.

Abraham
Alabama:
17/26 174 1TD 1 INT

Ms State
18/26 234 2TD 2 INT

Smith:
Texas
34-51 334 2TD 1 INT

At this point in the season Abraham is the best QB in this conference. He a strong arm and is very accurate. Smith has always sucked. Your entire fanbase says he sucks. We have all seen with our won eyes. You will see on Saturday how much better Abraham is than Smith.

Underdog Dynasty, certainly, agrees.

Thanks for posting. I never remember to go to that site. Y'all's QB seems to be developing nicely too. I will be at Disney the week we play FAU and plan on driving down from Orlando to Boca. Should be a good game.

Just allow yourself some time getting down the Florida Turnpike. Holiday traffic and everything...

Yes. But certainly take the Florida Turnpike. Waze or Apple Maps or Google Maps may suggest cutting over to 95 and going that way. Don’t go that way. Take the turnpike. I keep a Florida Sun Pass transponder in my glove box and keep at least 40 bucks on it for my visits down there. Throw it on the windshield before every trip. I love it. Especially around Orlando. Fun fact: you can use it in Atlanta too. Whoo-hoo. You can also use it in North Carolina but I haven’t needed it for that yet.

Not sure what you're trying to prove with this.

1. The completion percentage is essentially the same in these games (Abraham 67.3%/ Smith 66.6%).

2. Abraham passed for a higher yard per completion in these games than Smith (Abrahan 11.66 yards per completion/ Smith 9.82 yards per completion).

I think we all know what he is doing.
I wish our fans would shut up about Smith and Abraham. Abraham is gone. Smith is fine. Its time to get over it.

I always forget that Abraham signed with LT out of high school then transferred. I wonder if he's got a chip on his shoulder against LT?

Yeah, I didn't get it either. Abraham only had 26 attempts in both games compared to 51 attempts for Smith. I don't think he thought that through.

Oh that's nice! I knew they were unifying the two systems but I didn't realize they were done.

You were almost precisely on point with the mention of 15 yards as Abraham is currently averaging just over 15 yards per completion for the season.

RE: CUSA Power Rankings 10/13 Week 8
1. Southern Miss [1]- Offense looking too good. Defense good enough for CUSA
2. WKU [3]- Up a spot -Prob best Win of anyone in the conference by beating Army
3. La Tech [2]- Will earn the top spot if beats USM this week
4. FAU [4]- Interesting game with Marshall this week
5. UAB [5]- Hard to tell how good UAB is. Won't know until TN or USM game. Incredibly weak schedule. Of their wins, those opponents are 1-24 against FBS competition (with the loan FBS Win being UTSA over UTEP)
6. Marshall [8]- Big game with FAU this week
7. UNT [7]- Tough schedule. Prob 4-6 more wins ahead
8. FIU [9]
9. MTSU [6]
10. Rice [10]
11. UTSA [11]
12. Old Dominion [12]
13. Charlotte [13]
14. UTEP [14]

I have a chip on my shoulder for not placing him ahead of Smith. We are not a good team with an extraordinarily easy schedule.

Some of the Southern Miss fans are insufferable.

You say “Smith Sucks”. Well if Smith “sucks” so does Abraham against decent competition.

Look I have seen both side by side throwing and IMO Smith is much more talented. Abraham throwing over 25 yards are floating INTs waiting to happen. Put pressure on him and make him throw deep. Can Tech execute? I dont know and Southern Miss might still kick our tails but their is an easy formula to win.

Southern Miss has been very fortunate to beat us the last several years. Hopefully that fortune runs out this Saturday and Tech gets the win.

Pretty much your entire fanbase says Smith sucks. You are the only person other than Skip and his mother that believes in him. Do you happen to be Mr. Smith?

Not true. Many people are believers in J'Mar's ability. He's doing very well this year and the majority of fans are happy about the way he's playing. It's only a small majority that are hating on J'Mar right now. If you're going off our public message board then you're getting a false representation about how the majority of Tech fans feel.
