Ball State
Trips down I-69 in the past have definitely not been memorable in the past from a standpoint of this Rocket fan...
The Cardinals have a nice team this year and are 3-0 right out of the chute, and they have been competitive in all 3 of their losses...
This is a major game for UT to get that positive mojo back, and remember that the bg loss was a cross over game...Might be the only stinker loss of the season (HOPEFULLY).
See you in Muncie !! 04-cheers

I have by to Muncie the last three times and have enjoyed my time there. I like their stadium. It’s certainly a better place than that cow pasture we were just in. I plan on going next week and I’m confident our Rockets will come out at the top of their game. So who else is going?

Two of us (as we head to the Southwest/West/Northwest in the Unicat for the next couple of years).

I maybe going as well from the Dayton area, what sections do the Rocket fans sit in? In the past, if it the same , I remember I had to park further away then in the past. Only because right cross the street from their stadium, its for tailgaters and season ticket holders. I wonder if this will still be true?

The tailgate lot to the west of the stadium is open to all and where just about everyone parks. It can be a mess getting in and out as Ball State doesn't handle it very well. There is some cheaper parking ($5) just past the tailgate lot and a bit of a walk and there is parking at the middle school just east of the stadium that is easier to get in and out of but it is pretty much just parking and not tailgate friendly.

Looks like we are out for Ball State. Have a last-minute maintenance issue with the Unicat that we have to address. That will delay our travel to Muncie and then on to the Southwest.

The joys of living in a house on wheels.

RE: Ball State
Does UT have the offense to sustained drives anymore. Last 2 games, starting with the second half of the western game, 7 points, and again 7 points against a very week BGSU d. I would hope UT can rebound with a vengeance. Am I worry, you damn well I am, and so should a lot of Rocket fans. BTW, both Colorado State and BYU are a combined 4-9, with Boise State coming into Provo this coming weekend. Kind of waters down the victories against these 2 teams. UT, going into the BGSU game may have been overrated at 4-1. The jury is out rather they can secured a victory on the road against I think a tough opponent in Ball State. I wonder who will be more healthy, Mitch or Brad? If Peters starts out strong, you may not see any of those QBs. I have no idea what major injuries they sustained against BG.

No tv again this weekend. In fact, as of late yesterday. Only one Mac game was scheduled on tv in the next two weeks on direct tv

I was saying the same thing at halftime of the game on Saturday, didn't feel the Rockets could sustain drives, felt like they needed big chunk plays, which they didn't get either. 14 points in the last 6 quarters, ughhh.
