Top 60 is where NIU will be 9 of 10 seasons no matter the coach. Turner, Harnish and Lynch got NIU in the top 25. The Huskies will see a top 25 ranking the next time they have an all time NIU great player.

Now your bringing logic and intelligence into this discussion and there is no place here for that :-)
Seriously though, every year there is about a dozen teams with a realistic chance of winning a national championship.
Most teams should have a goal of winning their conference championship.
Anything over and above that, should be considered icing on the cake.
Winning the MAC should be NIU's goal. It is a perfectly acceptable and rational goal.

NIU has never finished top 25 but they did win 31 games from 2013-2015. That's pretty impressive.
To say we have never finished in Top 25 is inaccurate.

2013 22nd

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes they did, I stand corrected.

PJ's final ranking #10 in both ATP and coaches final poll as of January 14th!

Ahead of Wisconsin #11 ATP and #13 coaches poll.
Ahead of Iowa #15 in ATP and coaches poll.

Congratulations PJ! The greatest football coach to have attended and coached at NIU.

Amazingly his recruiting class for 2020 is so far only ranked 10/14 in the B1G.
Behind: Nebraska,Purdue,Wisconsin, Indiana and Iowa.
Yet he takes 3 star players and polishes them into NFL diamonds.

Auburn from 2016-2019 had 4 five star and 46 four star recruits versus Minnesota's 4 Four star recruits. The sign of a really good coach is to:

A) Turn these three stars into NFL prospects
B) Improve every game.

Clearly PJ seems to accomplish both.

We and Dave Doeren never went bowling this year.

At least we had PJ to celebrate.

Jerry Kill reported to be moving to TCU as an offensive assistant but not OC. More of an advisory role.

I'm praying for Hammock to be successful.

Then I'm praying we are lucky enough to get Matt Simon to progress his career here.

Hope we can become the next Cradle of Coaches!

Agree completely.
The more previous NIU coaches, who become head coaches, the better it reflects on NIU fb.

Hmm...

In 2016 Minnesota was 9-4 with Tracy Claeys at the helm. In 2017 PJ Flex took over and changed the culture, a bunch of kids transferred and they finished bowless at 5-7...the rest is history

Hopefully Hammock is having the same growing pains and we can do something amazing here.

Are there any NIU FB players at either Tennessee Titans or Kansas City?

Justin McCareins And Darrell HILL Tennessee vs Da'ron Brown KCC
So, unless evidence is presented to the contrary I will support Tennessee Titans as the more NIU team.
