Nah, you just are not following the conversation. Let me summarize

- Poster says equates tradition to brand, meaning jerseys should more or less never change color or design
- I point out that only a hand full of schools actually have the history to brand their teams off of legacy (the Alabamas of the world). Meaning the rest of us have to find alternative ways to distinguish and brand our universities and teams
- Poster above points out that even the blue bloods who many claim never change their uniforms do actually wear alternate uniforms so even they are getting away from never changing uniform designs.

You only read what you want to read! Go back to every uniform based comment I’ve ever made, since the very 1st zebra helmets were worn. I don’t give a crap about uniform color or style. It’s the helmet that matters. That’s the logo, brand, identity, call it what you will. It’s what boosters, alumni, letterman put in their offices and dens. You obviously never played any team sports but the logo is the bond of the university, past present future. If you want a zebra striped look once a year or so, knock yourself out. Balloons and rainbows, go for it; but the standard needs to be the standard, if you don’t understand this, you probably don’t follow the Tigers during the hard times! Hold my beer!

Okay, so because I do not agree with you on the uniforms or helmets I;
- Obviously never played a team sport
- Not a Tiger fan during "hard times"
