Spoiler? Temple has more conference championships than Memphis (1, vs 1 split three ways for Memphis) and I believe has the best conference record overall since we went to a divisional format.

You know, I support factual HONEST postings in rebuttal to a Tiger fan, but this is egregious. One of our "CO-champions" from that year (2014), we didn't even play, and the other (Cincinnati) we beat FORTY ONE TO FOURTEEN. .... ON THEIR HOME FIELD.

Make no mistake, we won the conference that year. Got the full-size trophy to prove it. Got the Bowl win over BYU to prove it. Get that trash outta here.

Not to mention, UCF got their share on a Hail Mary vs...ECU.

Since we're arguing about who gets to claim the conference championship from 2014...Yea the Bearcats lost to Memphis to open conference play. They were killed that day. However, they got it together and won their next 7 conference games. They beat the Houston team Memphis lost to.

Co-Champions is just that. Co-Champions. All three teams get to claim it.

Memphis' is split with two other teams.

Y'all mad that I'm pointing out that those aren't the same thing. And they aren't. Maybe if there was a Championship game that year Memphis would've actually won it, but we'll never know.

I used to be an admin for that page covering Temple and UConn. Could be a **** show at times. 8 great admins, but 2-3 that just flood it with garbage about their team. Finally had enough with the UCF guy and dropped out.
