The Enquirer says the game is on ESPNU? I assume that's not correct? (also says Rocky Boiman is one of the analyst. He's a big pro-UC guy)

TV: Beth Mowins (play-by-play), Anthony Becht (analyst) and Rocky Boiman (field analyst) will have the call on ESPNU. That's DirecTV 208, Dish 141, Spectrum Cable 303, Fioptics/Cincinnati Bell 200/600.

Everything's right except the network/channels. I saw on Twitter this morning "How to watch/listen to the UC game" and I was excited that they were being so helpful.

I was excited too until I read step 1: Find a reputable source with accurate details about the date, time, and station for the telecast.

I just don't see how Houston gets it together against us. They might play on adrenaline for a quarter or two, but they're just too disorganized right now to pull it off.

Maybe they might beat a middle of the pack team, but not us.

Houston is better than there record would indicate. That said, we should win unless we come out unfocused and undisciplined. After a big win at home and starting to get some attention nationally I do worry a bit and I think the game could be closer than we think since we are on the road but I still expect us to come out with a win.

A win against Houston on the road and we should be able to reel off a few more wins in a row with the schedule we have setting up a big finish at the end of the season.

I think a healthy Houston with everyone playing is better than their record and maybe better than UC.. problem is, they have so many of their best players either sitting, or quitting, or injured. Add to that, their defense is atrocious with little experience. This one is hopefully ugly.

Anyone else see this?

Houston Offensive Lineman Justin Murphy Rips Program, Head Coach Dana Holgorsen on Twitter

Can't imagine this isn't a distraction in some way...

Ouch. I guess we could take two views on this. A cancer was just removed from the locker room and the team will respond favorably on Saturday. Alternately, the team is in disarray and will show up and go through the motions the rest of the season.

For UC's sake, I hope it's the latter scenario.

I want a real test in this game that we win by double digits. Then Houston can go on a run to make the win look even better. The reality is probably that they are tanking, even though there's no benefit in NCAAFB to do that other than to have your players another year.

I’d urge some patience but if it turns out bad at least we didn’t pay 19 million for Tuberville, lol.

Yeah Tubs had a couple of ok years starting out and then it turned downwards. Ficks first year was a struggle.

Holgs seems to be targeting high level recruits compared to the rest of this conference and that’s his territory. I would definitely have patience this first year although I am way against having seniors redshirt. He did note at WV the average age of his players/maybe starters was like 22 and at Houston it’s in between 19 and 20 or something like that.
