He has definitely thrown the ball away a couple of times when he had open grass which has been odd. Where I really see it is on the option with the RB. I think our offense would greatly benefit from him pulling the ball maybe twice a game and running. Even if he picks up no yards it would at least help keep the defense honest.
I have been critical on White for the most part. But I have resigned to the fact that he is our QB barring injury, and I would never wish an injury on someone. So, I am just rolling with it and hope he keeps leading us to victories.
Agreed. There was 1 play in the last game, in particular, where he had wide open field and could have scrambled and likely picked up the 1st down. But instead, he sailed it out of the end zone. I believe this was on 3rd down to make matters worse.
I'm sure he is being coached not to take unnecessary hits, but he also seems terrified of any contact whatsoever.
I agree that he does appear to be overly cautious...
But so did Ferguson...It must be being drilled into them to not take hits. But White is taking it to another level.
