UTEP basketball commit Quincy McGriff upgraded from 3* to 4*
It is unheard of for a CUSA school commit to be upgraded as far as I can remember. This is also a guy that is expected to red shirt his freshman year.

Quincy McGriff is the UTEP commit and he chose UTEP over
UTSA, Fresno St., Utah St., St. Mary's, UNM and Kansas St.

This may not be a good thing for UTEP. More P5 offers will begin. Unless his GPA is 1.7.

Congratulations. Hope he works out.

But I would rather see some of our recruits upgraded from 6'5" to 6'9". Or from 6'7" to 7'1".
