Rolling Stone: Why the whistleblower probably isnt
link to rolling Stone article

Basically, real whistleblowers get destroyed by the Intel community and MSM. If this one is celebrated, they are unlikely to be a real whistleblower. It's an interesting read.

Sounds plausible.

But anyone with a brain already knew that.

I don’t know enough about Matt Taibbi to say exactly where he falls on the ideological Matrix, but for whatever reason, he does publish the occasional article that strays from the Approved progressive talking-points.

I've liked a good bit of what he's written over the years.

Quote:I have a lot of qualms about impeachment/“Ukrainegate,” beginning with this headline premise of the lone, conscience-stricken defender of democracy arrayed against the mighty Trump. I don’t see it. Donald Trump is a ******* who got elected basically by accident, campaigning against a political establishment too blind to its own unpopularity to see what was coming.

"don't underestimate the donald"..... nuts zongo is still laughing....

sometimes, I simply have to pat myself on the back....

He's had quite a few excellent articles even if I might not have liked the slant. He's pretty liberal but occasionally checks it at the door.

RE: Rolling Stone: Why the whistleblower probably isnt
Interesting story..... It is really hard these days to not see partisan spin in anything even remotely related to Trump, but that was not too bad a job of it.

I still say this is all just huffing and puffing on both sides, nothing more than a marketing campaign by the Dems to get power back and get this "outsider" out of their hair.

Thats' the part that amazes me... is that 1) IT's Taibbi and 2) The Editors at the Rolling Stone let it through...

There is an emerging America where you can be a liberal that does not support the Democratic party just like you can be a Trump supporter that thinks he's an a55h0le.

And quite frankly, I'm somewhere in there. I'm probably too liberal on some issues to be considered a full-blown conservative, but I'm basically conservative/libertarian and I think Trump is a flaming a-hole, but better than anything the democrats have running.

I'm thinking the backlash from the Boston Marathon Bombing where they tried to make one of the terrorist to be a heartthrob..

The lesser of two evils - in today's case that would be THE DONALD.

It is a vote against the Democrats as much as it is a vote for Trump.
