Yanez Rogers Transferring
Posted on Twitter last night. Sucks to see him go without seeing him on the field much.. I assume he saw how packed the WR room was going to be next year with Blue Smith and Garyn Prater in addition to young guys like Pierce stepping up.
Hopefully he lands somewhere and is successful but as has been pointed out in the past, it seems like a lot of athletes don't know what they're getting themselves into in the transfer portal. It's rare to see one work out and he may end up having to go FCS.

Maybe he is hoping to play QB again at a lower level. But yeah, the transfer portal is brutal if you don't have any tape at the Division I level. I wish him well.

I don't wish to see anyone transfer, but I hope that guys who transfer under Coach Fick do so with the advantage of other coaches knowing that they've been both well coached and that they've faced a high level of competition in practice.
