Would you trade Mark Ingram for David Johnson straight up? Who wins?

qb, 2 rb, 2wr, 2 flex, 1 te, 1 superflex

I typically have a lot of Mark Ingram because I value him more than his ADP. I can get what I feel to be a low RB 1/high RB 2 for a 4th rd pick.

I conversely, rarely am willing to draft DJ where he gets drafted.

Who has more value going forward? The above doesn't address that at all. Good question.

DJ has higher upside. I trust Ingram as a constant producer. He hasn't had the injury probs and we know where he fits in his O.

I like Ingram. I'm prob in the minority.

I like Ingram as well.

I have Ingram.

This is a dynasty league and Ingram is at the "cliff"

Johnson ain't far behind but IF he got traded he would become an every down back again.

Think about him in Tampa.

Does Baltimore start transitioning to Hill or Edwards soon, is Ingram about to go off the 30 year old cliff?

This year, in a redraft league, I drafted David Johnson and Devonta Freeman fairly early, traded them as soon as the draft was over for Joe Mixon and Davante Adams, then traded Davante Adams for Todd Gurley.

I won that league this year, but not with any of those players.

Fantasy football is a fickle b*tch.

Ah Dynasty. I assumed this was some sort of Keeper question.

I'd be looking to trade for youth. But I wouldn't yet. Ingram had been a split back and wasn't ridden hard early in his career. I expect him to be an RB 2 (or better) for the next 2-3 years. I'd be putting out feelers for him next year and look to trade after next year.

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao because you posted this during Tulsa game.

Looking for something more interesting than our non-scoring, no-defending tigers?

My expectation this year was a National Championship.

The game was over at the half.

To Tulsa.

And I had to turn volume off on notifications because I had two people texting me how Penny sucked as a coach and what about that National Championship.

Tiger fans are emotional.

How old was Deangelo when he retired?

He was considered the same thing as Ingram.

Not saying that I don't think Ingram will perform well, I am saying I already traded his azz, should have gotten more for him, and am trying to somehow justify it.

I meant to delete the trade proposal BEFORE looking for that extra piece but left it up, went back to look at the other person's roster to find a piece, and they smashed the accept button.

Evidently, their notification volume was on 11.

Now, I am trying to trade him for Ridley.

Could have easily done that with Ingram.

I've done well riding the old guys that people toss out too soon: Frank Gore, AP, Steven Jackson, DW (with Bell out) all gave me superb production at a great price. Winning FFB usually involves finding value somewhere. NFL has devalued the RB, so fans follow suit. Good place to gain advantage. That's all. Not saying you have to bet the farm on them. Larry Fitgerald was a good WR example of that this year.

I like me some Ridley!!

And as for our Tigers, Wed night was rough! Turned to bourbon to get through it.
