I'll give you ACC is piss-poor, but Big 10 piss-poor? Yeah not so much.

RE: Temple next!
Temple has played:
0-5 Bucknell
1-4 Georgia Tech
3-2 Maryland
2-4 Buffalo
3-3 ECU
One team with a winning record. Combined record 9-18

We are a little better. One team with a winning record. Combined record 11-15.

Both teams won their only games against a p5 school. Both were at home.

Sounds pretty even but playing at Temple will probably give them the edge. Offense needs to get going early. Defense needs to come to play from the beginning of the game. If we get the lead Norvell needs to keep playing the same way that got them the lead. He has a tendency to go very conservative with a lead.

We win 37-34 in 2 OT's.

Maryland has been very up and down. Beat poor Howard 79-0, beat Syracuse 63-20, lose to Temple 20-17, lose to Penn State 59-0, beat Rutgers 48-7.

Georgia Tech is terrible too. They would probably lose to Tennessee.

No kidding? Fairly even between us.
-Both teams played a p5 team at home and won
-Both teams are 1-0 in conference games but we probably played the tougher opponent.
-Both teams have played 3 home games and won all 3 (6-0)
-Both teams have played 2 road games. We are 2-0. Temple is 1-1

Both Ga. Tech and Maryland are in P5 conferences, so Temple's schedule has 2, to our 1. Granted, Ole Miss appears to better than either of those Temple played. I agree we win, but wider margin, maybe as much as 10 points. 27 - 17.

So you think Temple scores more on our D than they did against ECU last week. And they beat us worse than they beat Maryland, Buffalo, or ECU. interesting

At the time Temple beat Maryland everyone thought Maryland was going to be really good. The trounced Syracuse and were scoring at will. Of course they have stunk it up since then. GT is just bad.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Georgia Tech. They rank 99th in Sagarin with the 124th offense and the 99th defense. They are ranked as the 3rd worst p5 team in Sagarin. Not unexpected since they are transitioning away from the triple option.

We're kinda due for a higher scoring game. We've had too many drives we haven't finished. 500 yards of offense should net you more than 27 points.
