Howard Football Transfer Tracker
With our Howard history, I thought it might be good to track those players in one spot.

QB Caylin Newton (Jr) 6'0 195lb Atlanta, GA
LB Iggy Reynoso (Soph) 5'11 220lb Reading, PA
RB Khalid Dorsey (Soph) 5'11 175lb York, PA
DB John Smith IV (Soph) 6'1 180lb Muskogee, OK

Would keep an eye on Khalid Dorsey. I have no insider knowledge, but seems like an intriguing option for the offense.

I'd add, if Reynoso is a speedy linebacker that can cover over the middle, we definitly could use him as well.

Newton is scheduled to swing through Charlotte in the next couple of weeks for a game. Still no public indication that their is interest in the Tribe.

Not Howard news, but another possible MEAC transfer-
Preseason MEAC defensive POY Brian Cavicante (LB 6'0 220lbs) has said he will graduate from Delaware St and transfer for his final year. He is a Portsmouth, VA native.

Just how far have we dropped.

We don't even look to be competitive with Elon and Towson - and now we have thread devoted to tracking transfers from a mid level MEAC team.

This is really getting depressing. I think more left with Laycock than I originally thought.

Think what you will, but adding the offensive or defensive MEAC POY would upgrade most CAA teams.

Correct. Caylin Newton is a sought after transfer all throughout the G5 and FCS landscape.

If you want to think of it that way, sure, but you could also look at it as a thread devoted to tracking transfers from our coach's previous school, where presumably there are still players he thought highly of.

Tired: scouring ACC rosters for transfers
Wired: scouring Howard's roster for transfers
