Yeah, looks like there are still a lot available. Hopefully they'll be a large walk-up crowd. Hopefully.

Pretty easy when WRs are wide open every play. Credit the OC and JA for not missing them.

Loudest crowd and best atmosphere in years tonight at the Rock. 3rd down crowd noise was on point. I’d rather have a crowd of 25,000ish like that than 31,000 crickets like Alcorn game.

That was fun. First time in years I’ve been able to say that about a home game.

8,000 at Alcorn were Alcorn fans, so it’s obvious why it was quiet. It was also a game not in doubt to most people. Heck, Bama fans don’t even get loud when they play FCS teams. It’s just a nice day at the stadium.

Glad the crowd was into it. Hoping we keep it up.

Proud of our coaches. The team is getting better and that has a lot to do with coaching.

Reggie - There is no QB on our roster that puts USM in a better position to win than JA.

No prob saying im wrong. Im wrong all the time. Problem with this, is im not wrong. JA has looked like crap most of the time during his career throwing down field. Thats not my opinion, thats a fact. He has made great strides and looked great most of this year. Im happy about that. Hope he continues to improve. He has thrown with much more zip on the ball as of late. Maybe someone told him to throw it harder? Maybe the new OC has helped? Its also a fact the WRs were wide open yesterday. Why are you butthurt over that? Im enjoying the win and will continue to. But some people on here..like you and stink...cry and want to bring up how others said JA was sucking, when he actually was sucking. I actually WANT him to do well and am glad hes doing good. If he were playing like **** id say it as well. Shouldnt be all upset when that happens. Dont take it so personal. Why do you refuse to admit he has improved?

Show me a quote of late where i said someone else does. Ive actually been very complimentary of JA recently. Early on in the seasom i sad some things bc he was in fact throwing the ball too soft. He has been throwing much harder and better the last few games. Is it impossible that he has improved as of late?

Agreed, the crowd was at its best in a long while. It caught me bit off guard when NT had an early 3rd down and so many people around me actually got lively. It was surprisingly loud for the East upper being mostly empty.

I’m still really disappointed by the showing vs. State, but at least we seem to be getting better as the season progresses.

I don’t even care about the OOC SEC games anymore. Dominating a weak CUSA would be better. The separation of the P5 is near complete. All I want is a CUSA Championship game in the Rock. The current CUSA has no idea what a fully energized USM fan base is like. No more championship games in front of 15,000. That’s embarrassing.

Talked to a player after the game, a junior, he said the team loved the crowd and the atmosphere. I told him keep playing like last night and it’s just the start.

All good to hear and true. Sounded louder than expected on "TV". Beer probably helped with the crowd noise.
