I get what you're saying... and it'll be there for everybody else on the planet.

You can add Memphis Tigers football and Memphis Tigers basketball as "favorites" and you'll get updates all the time -- even one mythical day in the distant future when we might not be ranked. 03-wink

Well Auburn and Iowa both lost to ranked teams on the road, so naturally they wouldn't fall far anyways, but it helped that neither was blown out.

They lost competitive games to teams in their same ranking range.. it would only make sense that they wouldnt fall much.

Bo Nix is trash.

People who bag on Brady saying Memphis can win the AAC w/ Brady yet see Auburn as a top 15 team with that dude out there.

Man.

If the Special Teams keep playing like they have been, then every opponent remaining on the schedule should be very afraid.

Special teams can play well. Heck they played well last year. The issue was the defense couldn't stop anyone. Now I think this years defense is better, but Saturday looked a lot like last years defense, which is scary

Agreed. Way too many missed tackles and chunk plays given up. I sure hope this can get corrected this week.

It was by far the worst tackling of the season so far. It also seemed like there were zero adjustments made unlike previous games.

Either the defense took the day off, or ULM executed well. They're offense is currently ranked 41st at 443.3 YPG. For comparison, our offense is ranked 43rd at 442.5 YPG.

I'll say it again, they are not a bad team. Obviously they're not a great team, but they're not bad.

Ole Miss isn't even in the top 50. I still maintain that ULM could beat OM.

I personally think it was just a bad game by the defense, but there were some alarming things. Notably the tackling and the lack of adjustments. It just felt a lot like the past two years defense than it did the defense that shutdown Navy's triple option.

ULM kept a solid pocket for their QB most of the game. I was most disappointed in our rush.
Still, ULM presented something that we haven't seen before, maturity. Their offense was deft at pass on run, pass in the pocket, option, run, swing pass, etc. and it was very impressive. Makes sense given the makeup of their team, i.e. mostly of Jr. and Sr.

Tulane hired our former TE coach to run a very Norvell-like offense. They still run enough option to give your defense something else to prepare for.
