Other than letting in a shorty, he wasn't really tested.

Kzoocolt were you there? Bummed we gave up a shorty already in game 1, something we gave up last year too.

You Betcha I was there.
Good energy on the ice and a definite 'go get em' feel to it.
Multiple times I watched the OOKs players on offense waiting for the puck to come to them and they never got it because the broncos hustled and snatched it away from them. Play spent a lot of time down on the NAIT side.

Didn't care for the shorty either, (never do!) but after that goal I did say 'nice shot'

Bussi looked good to my untrained eye and made some nice saves during some gnarly goalmouth scrambles.
I also liked the fact that all three of the freshmen skaters got goals (Polin, Brickey) or assists (Attard).

Looks like Duluth used a different goaltender each period. I wouldn’t put too much into that loss...

Have you seen Duluth’s schedule this year!? OOC against Wisconsin, Minnesota and Minnesota State. Brutal!

That's why exhibition games, just like the weekly popularity polls that some people get all wrapped up in, aren't really worth much. Teams have just gotten on the ice with coaches and they're still trying out line combos, etc. The games are usually fun for fans to watch and it's another evaluation opportunity for coaches, but that's about it.

It would feel good surely. But I wouldn’t call it huge. We’re the better team.

You're gonna have a rough year filled with complaining about us "not winning by enough" and "just wait until the collapse" type comments. You should enjoy the ride, it's more fun.

Barring catastrophic injuries there's no way this team isn't playing in the NCAAs. We are LOADED.
