UCF #18 or 19 out of the way
Memphis NR or #23 take them out Red and BLACK Friday
SMU #24 or NR take them out at Conference Championship Game
Boise #16 or 15 must lose potentials being HA, WY, @Utah State, @BYU
Is it a dream? Perhaps but who dreamt we would ever play in the Orange or Sugar.

If we finish with our only loss at OSU and OSU finishes undefeated in the manner they have played this far, I believe we will end up in the NY6 bowl one way or another. That said, it’s a long way off before we get to that point.

RE: NY6 road
We've got a lot of football to play yet. My primary goal for this season remains the same - win the east and play in the conference chip. We control our destiny for that now that we've knocked off UCF. We've got to knock off one more that has had our number - as much as it pains me to say it - Temple. We play them in our house.

Honestly it makes me wonder if it would have been better for our program this year to have played a MAC school instead of OSU on the road. Will be interesting how it plays out but I can’t imagine that voters can hold the OSU loss against us much if it’s the only loss and they continue their dominant play.

No one dreamed 2008 or 2009 would ever happen for the Bearcats either.

Totally agree. It’s essentially going to play at Bama.

The access bowl is realistic if UC wins out, and Boise drops a game. It would help for UCF to win out and UCLA to show some signs of life.

In a somewhat dubious achievement, we still have allowed Osu the least amount of points aka 42 in their 5 wins. I'll be curious what Dantonio does against them tonight. He's not fared well the past couple times out. As these blowouts roll by, ours kind of gets lost in the shuffle.

I think if we would have scored even just 7-14 it would have been an okay loss but getting shut out is definitely going to be held against us.

Yea, OSU is legit this year and if they keep playing as they have it makes our loss a lot more palatable to voters.

Maybe, but OSU has one of the best scoring defenses in the country. If they continue to dominate B10 teams like they did Nebraska, I don’t think it can really be held against us considering their points came in garbage time.

Totally agree, I think OSU has seemed to be the best team so far this year. But any convo I've seen/heard by people outside of UC about their relevance this year is they've been the only team not to score a point against OSU. Not that they held OSU to their fewest points.

RE: NY6 road
The AAC is starting to get more respect and I believe a 1 loss AAC champ gets in over an undefeated Boise State with very little in the quality win department. The AAC champion will have multiple top 25 wins and the P6 narrative is kind of being picked up a bit as we are viewed as the best G5 conference by far (And pushing the Pac 12).

RE: NY6 road
SP+ predictive metric has the division rankings as follows
SEC West 15.9
Big Ten East 14.8
SEC East 11.0
Pac 12 North 9.3
Pac 12 South 9.2
Ben Ten West 9.2
ACC Atlantic 5.8
AAC West 5.7
ACC Coastal 3.1
AAC East -1.7
MWC Mountain -4.2
Sun Belt East -8.7
MWC West -9.2
Sun Belt West -9.6
C-USA East -10.1
MAC West -12.7
C-USA West -14.3
MAC East -19.7
I know the G5 rep is based on humans and not computers but the AAC is making a strong case to push the P6 narrative.. or at least shrink to the P4. I believe there's a good chance a 1 loss AAC gets in over an undefeated Boise.

Guys, Boyzee ain't goin' undefeated anyway. They're overrated as heck IMO. They continue to get love from the polls though. Who have they beaten? An unranked meh Florida St team is it. They still have to play Hawaii, @ BYU, Wyoming, @ Utah St and I believe they will trip against one of those teams.

No Big XII? Since they don’t have divisions they don’t get a score?

I argued agiant playing Ohio State in the pre-season. We would be top 15 if we smacked around any G5 school instead of playing the eventual national champions on the road.
Maybe the committee sees it differently and gives UC some love to keep Ohio State in a safe spot.

Was up guys. I just came over to say CONGRATS on your big win. I read some of your comments on your ny6 chances and I'd like to say that I believe that any AAC teams that can win out with no more than 1 loss should pass Boise state. I think the committee would jump which ever AAC team that accomplished that simply because of the ranked opponents you will have to beat along the way. Boise could go undefeated and not have one ranked victory to point to and could very barely have beaten anyone with a winning record. A one loss Cincy or a 0-1 loss Memphis or SMU would have a much better resume because of the AAC that the mwc simply can't provide for Boise.

Thanks man. I agree that our league champion with one loss should trump all things Boyzee Town St. They're going to have at least one loss before the season ends anyway. Best of luck to the Tigers the rest of the way until we meet in November.
