I call it the Fracalossi or Hershberger phenomena...Hawk has favorites despite talent. Been like this forever.

What stat sheet are you reading? So many minutes? He's the tenth man this year in regards to minutes played. Like Okgc mentioned he was lethal from 3 pt land last season. Anyone comparing this team to last years isn't following along. Richard wasn't brought in for defense, he's a shooter and in a big slump. Hard to break that when you are tenth man off the bench.

100% spot on. Richard didn't have competition off the bench with Bryce out. This year is much different with B Artis and Cruz in town. Richard will work his way back

We were always coached that if the shots weren’t going down your contribution should be tougher defense, boards and solid fundamental basketball. Don’t see any of that from WBR. Does Hawk have the luxury of installing a player whose only strong suit is a standstill shooter?

Point guard play is REALLY REALLY weak right now.

BAW with 10 assists and 19 turnovers in 12 games, playing 23 minutes a game.

Shooting 28% from the field. 26% from being the arc.

Ralph's minutes need to keep increasing.

For WMU to have a chance to be competitive.

This has been an issue with Hawk teams... outside of a few solid gaurds we always shoot like garbage for the most part... I don't think ive seen a hot and steady shooting WMU team in years...

Checking in before MAC play (yes we have a game left but we all know how that's gonna go)..

Will enter MAC at 7-6, 5-6 against D1. We are a tidy last place in the conference in NET ranking and Kenpom.

MAC appears to still be a bit up based on other teams' OOC. WMU is better than last year and from the eye test probably a bit better than 268th as Kenpom says but gonna be a struggle to get to .500. I will revise to 13-18 (6-12). 20 wins remains a pipe dream.

Ouch, MSU is leading EMU 101-44 with a few minutes left.

I hope our game isn't that ugly, although I know there's a chance it could be.

EMU hadn't played any P5 schools until MSU. The 8-1 record was deceptive

MAC will be much different this season. Buffalo isn't the beast in the house. You could have .500 teams fighting for first place in both West/East into late Feb. This Bronco team will have some bumps in the road because they won't get many senior minutes. Printy will make appearances but he needs to be hot from three point land to play. Squeaky will change the rotation again here shortly further limiting senior minutes. I look for this WMU team playing its best ball late Feb into March when it counts.
