That's true, Cleveland. On second thought, I imagine he would get a small handful of offers. Teams with a scholarship still left to give.

Believe it or not, the Plain Dealer posted a well-written article (Terry Pluto) about DP staying & the KSU program. This picture included in the article shows the difference in size between DP & LCJ.

It only takes one... Illinois took ADR after his surgery.

Glad to hear Danny Pippen is staying at KSU! In Allen Moff’s article, he input ADR’s stats @ Illinois, 2.3 points/game & 1.8 rebounds/game. I wonder if he wishes he would have stayed at KSU 2018-2019 season or if he was glad he got to play in Big Ten basketball? Deandre Gholston player at Tallahassee Community College this past season and averaged 11.3 points/game and 5.3 rebounds/game. I wish Anthony Roberts the best, but interested on where he lands and what point/assist totals that he is able to produce. I can’t find where BJ Duling transferred to.

Name the talented, yet sometimes mislead, KSU wing that came from Mineral Area CC circa 2010...…

NCAA just extended its recruiting dead period through May 31. No off-campus recruiting, no campus visits.

Not surprising, but this is peak time. And If AAU gets canceled this summer, recruiting is in completely uncharted territory.

Ohio St. will keep their campus closed through summer sessions (on line only) so I am pretty sure all schools will follow suit, British Open cancelled. It was suppose to start July 18th. We are getting awfully close to losing college football. If the top 30 or so schools can’t make their money on 7 sellouts all of college football will be broke. Not to mention the rest of college sports. This is going to accelerate changes that were going to happen anyway. It’s going to be an interesting 6 months or so.

Will crush every athletic budget country wide if no football. Have heard that there are talks of moving football season to spring 21 if fall 20 get cancelled.

Dang, that would be really interesting. Poor XFL... they start up and are pretty entertaining. First season shut down for a pandemic. Second season undermined by the College Football season being moved to overlap it.

Sooo ... that would mean just 3/4 months before the start of the 2022 season if it returns to the fall .... or ... are the sports calendars suddenly flipped: baseball/softball/golf/track/ become fall sports while FB becomes a spring sport???

I doubt that ... but wouldn't be surprised, either.

This would have weird implications on the NFL draft too. I think they'd almost have to push the draft back. The combine would likely happen during the season. And you'd be depriving players of the opportunity to spend a long time working out in prep for the combine. You would likely see just about every upperclassmen star skipping their bowl games.

RE: Men's Basketball Recruiting 2020
If there's one thing we've learned over the past 10-15 years is that POWER 5 football drives everything in the NCAA. For example disbanded old Big East hoops conference, separated texas and texas a&M into different conferences, Maryland and Rutgers in Big 10, ND never joining conference on and on and one Why? it always comes down to football $$$.

So while it sounds insane football drives EVERYTHING

Hmm I thought Avlia came from some unhearded JUCO. I could look it up but that'd be cheating. I remember Tyree Evans and Frank Henry Ala came from the same JUCO. Motlow I think? Or maybe Indian Hills. I think we've got a bunch of guys from Indian Hills over the years.

RE: Men's Basketball Recruiting 2020
I hear that the 2020 NCAA football season might be pushed to fall of 2021. And the 2020 national championship game might be played in 2022. Then they'll try to get the 2021 season played in fall of 2022. Then, they'll want to get back on track, so they'll play the 2023 football season in fall of 2023. But since they don't want to miss out on the revenue from the 2022 football season, they'll play it in spring of 2024.

Of course, that'll mess up eligibility, because if you were a 2020 freshman, the 2021 season will be your freshman year, 2022 will be your sophomore year, fall 2023 will be your senior season, and spring 2024 will be your junior season.

This is NCAA, and the logic they come up with never surprises me.

Frank Henry Ala - Motlow State CC
Anthony Simpson - Highland CC
Tyree Evans - Motlow CC

Looking back brought some names back, that I had forgotten about and wonder what happened to some of them? Antonio Demaria, Rashad Woods,

I played a handful of games against Woods, Demaria, and Singletary one afternoon at the Rec. Demaria was a real nice guy and called fouls fair. I don't remember Woods saying one word but he nearly ended a friend of mine's life with a vicious poster dunk attempt.

Add ADR (Williston JC) and actually, that's not a bad 8-man Juco rotation. ... Could be a 10-win MAC team.
