This is what those cheap plastic "raincoats" and small collapsible umbrellas were invented for.

Doesn’t MD have a geography degree from NIU? He has a track record of accurately predicting NIU football weather.

Forecast is for swarms of locust, and hot volcanic ash, to cover the area.
I hope they put up stronger tents in the end zone club. And be sure to get your hot dogs early.
Besides that, looks like a nice day. I say huskies by 10-14 pts!

You’re exaggerating a bit! The forecast is just for rain, monsoon-like winds, and hail. The locusts will come right after the game.
This is all MD’s fault!

I forgot to mention the pandemic, which will be caused by said hot dogs.

Maybe NIU should get paid top buck to play games in Arizona and New Mexico. At least the rain will follow them there.

This just means chances of getting a visor will be higher if it rains

Btw MD, great video highlights on your link there. I also added your stuff from the 2012 win over Kansas to the boneyard win video list thread. Thanks from all who enjoy(ed) it. You provided another "missing link" (haha).

The locusts will be very disappointed when they find out they're out of hot dogs.

Only if they're scanned in ... and they have to wear teeny, tiny little red t-shirts.

We can feed them continuously genetically modified Dekalb corn instead.

I just placed a bet that there will be rain for Homecoming (October 26). Winning these bets is certain and easy money. It's almost laughable.

I worry about attendance at our home games way too much and know the rain will keep a bunch of people home. Just in my group alone about 6 are starting to hesitate going. Bums me out.

RE: Forecast for Saturday, October 5
I'm planning to come up for the Homecoming game, after having to cancel coming to the opener due to the hurricanses we had.
Bringing some family, hoping for nice weather. These people were born in FL, a late October rainy day in Dekalb, sitting on metal seats, just might traumatize them.

Unfortunately, most people do not want to sit in a steady rain or storm to watch NIU play Ball State. This is why NIU needs to count tickets sold in attendance rather than butts in seats. They can't control the weather.
