I was at work, and my DVR inexplicably failed to record it. From review of the box score, I see that we outgained WMU and had more first downs. We committed too many penalties, but WMU had just as many and more penalty yardage. The one thing that stood out: we lost the turnover battle 4-1. That obviously needs fixed before the EMU game.

Speed - they had it, we didn’t.

Youth - burned. No excuse, these kids need to be coached up, or look for new assistants. Not a fan of Akey-Breakey defense. Mostly Breakey!

The season is over if we lose to the HURONators! (And there is a good chance we will).

You didn’t miss much. Unless you like being frustrated by an offense that moved the ball up and down the field only to not finish with a score or turn the ball over on downs. A defense that couldn’t cover a slant pattern by a wr if you drew it up and told them it was coming.
And a defensive line that jumped offsides so many times you’d think their pants were on fire or had Mexican jumping beams in their jock straps.

Oh, and twice not taking the field goal points and going for it on 4th down deep in your opponents end zone. And kicking the ball into the end zone in the 4th qtr when you are almost on the 50 yard line due to a personal foul penalty when you are down 2+ scores and need to get the ball back and the clock is your enemy. Maybe think about an onside kick when you give the opponent the ball at the 25 with a kick in the end zone anyways....

So you missed being extremely frustrated.

But hey, other then that, Waldo wasn’t flooded and it still looks like a glorified high school stadium with that God awful press box monstrosity. And the brown cows wore black instead of their awesome brown and yellow diaper uniforms. So be thankful you didn’t witness any of that.
