I don't like it. I don't agree with it... I think it is shame... but the dude is toast.

No one is defending Trump... and the Drudge report is hanging Trump out to dry.

For hours Fox has had an article up where the whistleblower's own attorney's are stating that 60 minutes was wrong and the whistleblower is not under Federal protection

Fox says whistleblower not under whistleblower protection

and yet Drudge cannot even bother to post the link to Fox... and instead sticks with the claim that the Whistleblower is in fear for his life and under Federal protection..

Drudge still has article up saying Whistleblower is under Federal protection

Why is this a big deal to Pro Trump people?

because if Drudge can't be bother to come to Trump's defense... then sooner or later Fox will drop their support...

Without Fox and Drudge...this president will lose the public support he still has... and remember this President is not loved by the Republican party. House and Senate Republicans will peel away quickly.... once public support erodes..

Trump has done nothing impeachable...but he has too many enemies on both sides of the aisle to survive this..

The Dems are so confident... even HRC is considering jumping into the race.

Stick a fork in Trump. he is finished.

Contrary to popular opinion, Deudge isn’t a Trump support system. It’s driven entirely by whatever will get the most clicks.

I respectfully disagree... it mostly caters to Trump/rightwingers such as me and you... in my opinion.

Why doesn't he post the Fox article... that would generate clicks.

This President is going to need popular support.

RE: Trump's days are numbered... He will be removed from office
This article lays out the Dems 5 step plan for impeachment

Scroll to the bottom.

This coup d'état has been carefully planned and choreographed.

1st they lined up the whistleblower

then they changed the whistleblower rules

Read about it here

Then they defined the narrow scope.

Washington Post Op-Ed

They are following each step.
Lesson No. 1: Be narrow and specific, perhaps with a near-exclusive focus on Ukraine.

Lesson No. 2: Don’t overpromise on details unless you can deliver

Lesson No. 3: Emphasize the threats to election integrity.

Lesson No. 4: Stay unified.

Lesson No. 5: Work quickly and urgently.

For Trump to survive...he has slow this thing down...and do it very, very quickly....

If they manage to get this out of the House, and 20 R senators vote to overturn an election, the R’s will never win another election in our lifetimes.

Oh, and we get President Pence.

I think getting it out of the House is a slam dunk. It will be up to Mitch to keep the senate republicans united...

Meanwhile Team Trump needs to get their arms around this thing...

Dems are marching ahead...

As the Democrats drive an impeachment inquiry toward a potential vote by the end of the year, President Donald Trump’s allies are struggling over how he should manage the starkest threat to his presidency. The jockeying broke into the open Sunday on the talk show circuit, with a parade of Republicans erupting into a surge of second-guessing.

You're wrong. The Dems will never vote on it. They covet power too much and voting on it would either end it by not passing it or they will lose the house in '20. They think he will resign which shows how deranged they are. They just want to investigate until they find something. They know the IG report will come out soon and change the narrative.

Zero chance they ever get it through the senate imo.

Seems laughable that anyone would think they can.

Impeachment is not turning over an election. It's removing a "corrupt" official from office.

Exactly which is why what they are doing is so dumb. They on record saying they will impeach him since the day after he was elected, much less after he was actually in office.

Define they? There were also calls for Obama to be impeached immediately as well. A few rogue voices don't make party policy. Pelosi was not on board until last week and that's all that really mattered.

And if they can't put forth any evidence to sway Republicans, trump is going nowhere.

Congress, even the democrats in congress, is not going to remove the president over the fake whistleblower. They will just investigate for the next year. This is the 2020 campaign.

RE: Trump's days are numbered... He will be removed from office
I don't think there is any doubt that 1) Trump will be impeached, democrats have simply painted themselves into a corner where they have to do it, and 2) Trump will not be removed by the senate.

If Trump were removed--or possibly if he is not--I think it could trigger a huge split. I am just afraid that the NE and west coast simply do not have enough in common with flyover country to coexist. Interestingly, Canada is experiencing a severe rift between Alberta and the eastern part of the country, with the other prairie provinces leaning toward Alberta. The west has been subsidizing the unholy alliance that was brokered by Ontario to keep Quebec from seceding. Alberta is already entertaining active secession talk, which is legal in Canada. If they leave, then Ontario and Quebec are going to need to partner with somebody who can support their deal financially. I could see a split where:
1) the northeastern US allies with eastern Canada, basically everybody from Maryland north and everybody who borders on the Great Lakes,
2) California, Oregon, and Washington, either ally with 1), or form their own,
3) Heartland, the remaining US states, along with Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, join together.

There are a few questions. One, the Canadian provinces in general have more social services than in the US, but in the Canadian system those are pretty much all provincial, and they could keep them. Their big thing is to get away from the money drain of supporting Quebec. Two, there are a few US states that might be questionable which way they go--Virginia, Iowa, Alaska--and some Canadian provinces/territories as well--BC, Yukon, Nunavit, NW Territories. I because of the DC establishment, I would expect VA to go with the NE states, and I would expect IA and AK to go with the Heartland. My guess is that BC would go with CA/OR/WA, Nunavit would go with ON/QB/Maritimes/US northeast, and Yukon and NW Territories would probably go with AB/SK/MB.

I don't want this to happen, but I think it is becoming inevitable. In thinking about it, I think any one of the three would be a better place to live than the US if we remain as divided as we are. Each country would have a major navigable inland waterway--Mississippi/Missouri in Heartland, Great Lakes/St. Lawrence in the NE, and Columbia on the west coast.

In this sort of split and alliance, I can see where the presence of the Canadian provinces would nudge Heartland toward a bigger and broader social safety net, probably along European social democrat lines of basically a capitalist economy with a safety net--I could see a compromise like replacing current welfare with a universal basic income and adding Bismarck health care. I would expect the east and west coasts, independently or together, to move toward a massive redistribution scheme along lines proposed by democrats. If that happens, then over time I would expect to see a migration of wealth to Heartland from the others.

One problem Heartland would have is the lack of a major financial center. That is one big reason why we hear the oft-repeated rhetoric about which states are givers and which states are takers. Money gravitates toward financial centers. I could see several viable candidates--Charlotte (which is already a significant domestic banking center), Atlanta, Miami (with its Latin American connections), Houston (with oil and gas plus international connections), and Dallas or Denver (with connections to mid-continent energy and agricultural sectors). Because so much of the value is created in Heartland, there would certainly be an attraction to create a financial center somewhere.

If 1) and 2) ally, they would have the inevitable problems of geographic split. And if Alaska joined Heartland but Yukon and NWT did not join along with AB/SK/MB, both countries would have that problem.

Al Green (D-Houston) admitted what most Americans already know about impeachment.

"“...To defeat him at the polls would do history a disservice, would do our nation a disservice,” Green said. “I’m concerned that if we don’t impeach the president, he will get re-elected....”"
