The blocked field goal should be a miss on the kicker. Looking at an App video angle of it, the kick was helmet-level at the line.

Yea it looked terrible all the way.

Reminded me a lot of the kick ya'll blocked against us in 2012. If ya'll hadn't touched it first, it was going to hit the back of the OL.

I enjoy playing the ULs and the Troys as conference rivals ... but I LOVE beating GS to prove they are not our equal.

I probably am. I guess here are my thoughts. I am happy we are in the FBS - that is great. And between the Sun Belt and CUSA I would have been happy wherever we ended up. I just wanted to get back to being - and staying - conference champions most every year. And so far so good.

But down the road - how far I don't know - It would be good to be in the American conference and perhaps have an instate rival like East Carolina.

But I do agree that Georgia Southern continues to be one hell of a good rivalry to be sure. Also, when I was in college the big rivalry was Marshall not Georgia Southern (for what that's worth)

Just watching a replay of App / Louisiana. Halftime Report showing a QB comparison of Thomas & Lewis. Used the Lafayette Leopards logo. 03-lmfao

It’s used at least once every time we are on a primary ESPN channel.

Maybe next time they’ll use the real Louisiana’s logo: the Louisiana College Wildcats

If a ULM game is played and no one is there to see it, did it really happen?

No clue you should ask the 6 fans you brought to a home game against an SEC school and see if they know the answer

Bro I was at the Memphis game, I literally could count the fans at the game.

I disagree with offensive player of the week. Thomas absolutely was the reason for the win, but there were better performers through the Belt.

Defensive and ST player of the week was spot on.

LOL. The UL message boards are certainly anti Thomas, but only Ellington came close to the same numbers and it was against CCU's defense which isn't close to UL's defense.

Congratulations to App State on the win. Your team played hard for the entire game and your defense stifled our offense. Your team deserves the ranking and recognition they are getting.

We trade QBs and we win. Thomas was the difference, no question about that.

Decadence Fest was nowhere near the Dome. Ridiculous rationale.
Low attendance was a result of not having a winning team for the past couple of years, a "home" game 2 hours away and an early kickoff.
Of course, a Moanroe fan chiding anyone on attendance is freakin hilarious.

So what y’all excuse for pathetic attendance? Parking issues, hunting season, bad home schedule, midweek games?

Or the truth, lack of fan base.

The whole conference needs more fans to show up at games, buying season tickets, donating to the alumni associations and general funds.

There's not once school that could claim they're happy with the status quo. We all want more fans. This year we all seem to have an uptick in ticket sales.
