RE: Tiger fans
I boo fans who leave early... Actually I just yell at them "Where are you going?! SUPPORT YOUR TEAM!"... We say we want to play with the big boys and be in the big boy leagues but yet half of the crowd leaves before the game is over. Do you think that's not noticed. I digress... Boo the refs don't boo the kids on your team or the service academy's.... To each their own I guess.

Tiger fans vocally opposing Norvell's decision to play White are playing with fire. I could see Norvell thinking "I've got this team ranked in the top 25 and undefeated, yet idiots in the Memphis fan base keep questioning my decision on the starting QB. I think it's time for me to move on to a better opportunity".

I know I'm probably exagerating, but we want to keep Coach Norvell, so why pick at him like you are doing? Some folks don't know enough to leave well enough alone.

I vacillate between thinking this way ^^^, and thinking "what good does it do treating coaches with kid gloves? Exhibits A & B are Calaparrrri and Foowentezz."

Because of the first, I try and temper my descent. But sometimes a dood needs to run for a freaking first down. 07-coffee3

You don't think the "big boys" fans leave early. Bama fans are notorious for leaving early. Heck, a good portion of fans never even make it into the stadium at Old Miss, UTK, or Miss State.

I understand a lot of those people who attend the games boo Brady White. Well I have about run out of patience with you folks. This is not the way a Tiger fan should behave. A fan should support the team, the players and the coaches. A fan should NEVER BOO a Tiger on the field. While I am at it no one should ever boo a service academy when they take the field. Some things are just not right and it is high time some of you learned right from wrong.

It happened one time. People are acting like it happens all the time, every game.

I didn't do it - and never boo the home team. I boo refs vociferously, boo the other team when they run out, and will occasionally even boo the coaches' decisions (e.g. to punt on 4th when I think we should go for it).

But I get why some fans did it this one time. It really had been building throughout the first half. And it was a terrible play when he had the option to run for first down OR make a decent throw.

RE: Tiger fans
Booing is the only way a fan can show their displeasure.

I don't boo our own players, but I do applaud this thread title.

Clap stand-up do a happy dance , hug the person next to you, fist bump, jump up and down, cheer like a maniac when good things happen.

Slink in place, hit the person next to you, groan, make an ugly face, cover your eyes, and be sure to biatch here when things bother you.

The camera focused on Navy fans, who were not booing btw, and it was very very obvious they were displeased and or sad, though they didn’t move a muscle.

Silence speaks volumes.
