FOUR NOONERS:

UB vs. MU on ESPNU
NIU vs Vandy on SECN
Toledo vs BYU on ESPN+
WMU vs. CMU on CBSSN

3:30
UMass vs. Akron for 128th place on FLOF?

Big day for the league. Perception changes if Toledo, Akron and NIU can steal wins. Also CMU could prove to be real, and UB can continue momentum after beating that old MAC Team Temple.

Indeed we can see what change and progress televised media has made for conferences like the MAC.

Twenty five years ago - none of this...

Nice selection of noon games for your viewing pleasure.

Rain all weekend + all the local HS games got pushed to today. Gonna be a light crowd for this one unfortunately.

Matt Myers just fit a really nice 20-yard pass into the back of the endzone to Antonio Nunn to give UB a 7-0 lead

RE: Week 5 gamethreads
Absolute BS call just gave Miami a TD instead of a field goal.

UB was called for a personal foul for running over the center on Miami's field goal. Replay showed it was actually the guard they ran over which is perfectly legal. Miami got a TD after the "penalty".

14-10 UB now instead of 14-6

Can’t believe they called UB for blocking the center on the FG when it was clearly the Guard. How is that not reviewable? It’s the most blatant gift of 4 points you can hand a team. Sheesh. Cmon MAC.

It's funny how they can review 12 players on the field yet can't review that. Such nonsense.

UB just not up to the task in road games this season. Miami took the gift points and have dominated every aspect of the game since.

24 - 0 Broncos as the third winds down. Chips have shot both feet off with multiple costly mistakes and penalties.

Antonio Nunn clearly had his jersey held on that 4th down throw into the endzone.. the DB held onto his jersey for a really long time, starting at the 5-yard line and all the way into the endzone.

UB did a lot wrong too but these refs made some huge game altering calls / no-calls.

I read too much about UMass late last evening and was convinced they could not possibly beat anyone in the country, even Akron, so I changed my pick to Akron and ruined what would have been a perfect day.

Akron....

Eek. 0-5........

BGSU & KSU winnable, but 0-12 likely. Really needed an FCS game.

Sad to see. They seemed on the right track, winning the East in 2017 & starting off 4-3 in 2018.

RE: Week 5 gamethreads
CMU defense definitely pretty good, but not sure how much of that was average-to-below-average play for the WMU offense.

The WMU defense (especially the pass defense) still bad, but improved from last year. Despite the poor WMU defense, CMU's offense nothing to smile at, coming up short far too often for them.
