That second half was so much fun to watch. It was the polar opposite of the first half. We were clicking on all cylinders in the second half.

Thanks! The atmosphere was great at the game. Most people stayed until just a few minutes left in the game.

RE: Game highlights
Watching Navy #36 try to get a holding call during kickoff return (2:03 mark) reminds me that I didn't see as many calls in the trenches. Navy usually gets automatic credit for being "disciplined" and wins the officiating battle out-of-the-gait. I love watching the armed forces schools play and I admire them greatly, as a Navy BRAT. However, I'm usually disgusted by the officiating of their games. I didn't feel that way with this one.

It's fun watching so many long plays! Defense looks solid. I love this team!

I saw their guard pull on running plays early a couple of times and no calls.

Like a false start? Yeah, I noticed that too.
Several of their penalties were of the more boneheaded variety which are uncharacteristic of Navy.

RE: Game highlights
All in all there were few penalties.

I’m rewatching the game now. Media hype on Navy QB— raised by two Navy people—dad overseas rarely gets to see a game. This was his 4th. They showed him in stands . Mom had to drive 7.5 hours — lots of emotional hype.

And we boo ours — it’s a bit yucky in comparison.

And yet here are some basic stats for you statboys

M. Perry
6-10, 82 YDS, 1 TD

B. White
14-18, 196 YDS, 3 TD
