Turnovers, penalties, and dropped passes. Pitt is playing like trash and trail 14-10 to start the 4th.

Finally we move the ball. Still took a penalty on the drive but Patti hits Mack for the TD. Pitt 17- Delaware 14.

Come on Temple, don't make GT look good. This team lost to the Citadel and got pushed around doing it.

4th and 5 and Tobias Oliver still can't do simple throws. Wide open receiver in the flats and the throw was behind him.

Temple may regret not scoring early. Still plenty of time to rectify that

GT hasn't been shut out since 1997. That's gonna get challenged this year.

I see in the box score Tobias fumbled at the 1. Is Temple wearing the UT power T on their helmet? I'll stay with Goal Line rather that watch some more infuriating material like that.

Oh yeah, don't waste your time watching. I am but at this point nothing phases me.

Lots of good ACC games on right now. It's just that GT Temple isn't one of them.

Clemson 14
UNC 14

Virginia 17
Notre Dame 14

Wake Forest 20
Boston College 17

Thank God Carolina Lost.

That said, that was the best Carolina football performance I've seen in several decades. Going for 2 takes a man.

RE: Open Thread - 2019 Football - Week 5
I see that Graham managed to clock in a scarcely believable 36 QBR ... and in so doing also be the only person who made crisp downfield passes. And Tobias would single handed run the ball down the field .... and then hand it to Temple in a timely fashion just before scoring. Impressive. You'd think they would be a little more self aware after Citadel. You'd think Tobias wouldn't have fumbled the second after coughing up the first on the 1.

As absolutely **** as it is to be a GT fan right now ... I don't think I can safely say I've reached the bottom until Pastner gets into ACC play at the same time that this .... uhh .... whatever you wanna call that ... is fielded. National Signing Day is 2/5/20. Maybe that's the beginning of a climb. Maybe.

Because he didn't like his chances if the game extended into over time. I think it was the right decision to go for 2 also. The longer the game was extended, the more the outcome was going to favor the more talented team in Clemson.

Going for two was the right decision. The wrong decision was trying to run to the perimeter against Clemson's defense.

That Pitt game today was one of the most brutal football games I've ever watched... Geezus that was hard. If it wasn't 85 degrees outside, surely I would've fell asleep in the stands.

The old guy was playing to win. If you love to compete you have to respect that. His players will run through a wall for a guy like Mack.
Tip of the hat to Coach Brown and the Tarheels. Much respect...

Somewhere Pat Dye is shaking his head wondering what Coach Mack was thinking.

Joey... can’t believe y’all didn’t expect to come out at least a little flat after last weeks emotional win... Most teams would.

I was glad to see you guys pull it out.

FSU looking better every week. The 2nd half collapse never came in this game.
