That is the same way I feel. I got an annual ESPN+ subscription as a birthday present this year.

I already subscribe to 2 streaming services for the family plus have access to way more than I could ever watch.

The CAA should have worked with an existing platform with a reasonable price and broad subscriber base.

I will not accept this as growing the conference. That's been preached year after year and then they settle for this bogus crap. It's like when they crowed some years ago about contending with stronger conferences. And went right out cut the baseball conference tourney to four teams. They eventually went to six. But real conferences are including at least eight teams, if not all.

Sorry. This is a horrendous idea. The goal of the CAA should be to expand name recognition and expose our schools and teams to as many people as possible. That would include recruits and parents. Pay per view for CAA sports will do none of that. It will decrease exposure and name recognition and will prevent recruits and parents from being exposed to the schools. Only die hard followers will pay for this and even some of those die hard fans won't...including me.

I find it interesting that Gov. Cooper is weighing on on the availability of the ACC sports network at the same time we are doing this.

Nope. If this is the bed they chose to make they can lay in it without me. I know I'm only one person, but this is a disaster for not only our school but the CAA as a whole for the reasons already stated above.

They can go pound sand.

For this kind of money I expect ESPN quality video, which we all know it won't be.

AMEN to that. And, there are no sweater vests with our Whine :)

Bottom line the price is more than twice espn+ which carries a lot of high quality reputable content including a ton of live fbs, fcs, and ncaa basketball. Flow is half the price of a full base package including full espn coverage through sling.

They abandoned their fanbase. They are out of touch. That is a crazy price. They need to demand a CAA tier price for 5 a month at most. Their content is garbage.

Forbes tried to take the business spin on this deal. Sure it sounds like a move towards a modernized business model but it fails in reality without some sort of tiered packaging.

Has anyone inquired with the football schools in the CAA how they like FLO so far?

Out of curiosity, I just did a cursory search and JMU has a decent thread devoted to FLO. The overall consensus is that it sucks.

I'd really caution some of you who are planning to pay for this garbage to go read through their thread and maybe search others before dropping your money on a crap product.
