Dammit. Stop doing that. I now have 1 click left for this year. People, please, if you are going to link to a newspaper site that has limited clicks, say so. I just assumed it would be a link to the ESPN site.

So will you save us all a click and tell us what it said?

Guessing some article about a package of Memphis games?

If you are streaming and your TV saves the password it is so easy to use I may just do it depending on the article that I will not click on until in the office tomorrow

RE: Need a reason to pay for ESPN+?
OK, ESPN+ is going to do a series of shows documenting the Memphis Basketball path through the 2019-2020 season. I guess it will be kinda like Hard Knocks on HBO or the series that they did on Ole Miss football.

So, go to ESPN website and do a search for details.

Excuse me for the inconvenience....

At the risk of getting in trouble...
"The expectation that Memphis basketball will provide a bounty of entertainment and intrigue this season was already high enough.

Now, the "Worldwide Leader in Sports" is banking on it.

The story authored by Penny Hardaway's Tigers in 2019-20 will be documented by an ESPN+ production crew and broadcast as a regular series by the video streaming subscription service throughout the season.

Details are scant, however ESPN+ (which reportedly surpassed 2 million paid subscribers in February 2019) is expected to drop the premiere episode in mid-November. Filming had not yet begun as of Tuesday, when Memphis held its first official practice.

On top of Hardaway's draw, the Tigers boast the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, which includes James Wiseman, who some forecast as the top pick in next year's NBA draft.

ESPN+ produced an 8-episode series (entitled "Earn Everything") last college basketball season, focusing on the Duke basketball program.

Memphis will hold a pair of exhibition games (Oct. 24 and 28) before opening the regular season on Nov. 5 against South Carolina State at FedExForum."

just hover your mouse over the link and if it's a newspaper, right click and open in a private/incognito window.

I only use it to watch fight night and ufc pay per views. Its a hassle. I rather just turn to a channel instead of having to turn my ps4 on, scroll through, find the app, then the show.

I think it's less than 5 bucks a month, like 4.99. I only got it so I can watch UFC reruns.

You should wait to get it until Disney + launches. Then you can bundle Disney +, ESPN +, and Hulu Live TV Plus for like 11 bucks a month.

I ditched cable for YouTube TV about six months ago. For me, the good far outweighs the bad. But, one of the things I dislike about streaming is that when I watch on my TV, I have to turn on a device (as you said), open the app and scroll through to find the program I want. Switching to another show takes a little more time than it does on cable.

It has affected my viewing habits. I channel surf a lot less now that I'm streaming, which I suppose is a good thing.

Pricing was my #1 consideration for choosing streaming over cable. I was spending close to $250 for cable and internet with Xfinity. Now I'm spending around $120 for YouTube TV and AT&T fiber.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the cost of internet is going to skyrocket as places like AT&T continue to lose TV subscribers to alternative platforms...

And now I will obviously be getting a subscription to ESPN+. It is really cool and seems like a really big deal to be featured for a show like this!

I have AT&T fiber as well. Are they data capping you since you aren't bundling with another one of their services?

Yes, but we've never come close to the hitting the cap and we stream on multiple devices everyday.

I guess you just can't read. My "anger" was fully explained within the confines of my post.

I' didn't even read it. I did't know what the article was about until I just heard about it on the Greg and Eli show about 10 minutes ago. Maybe you should just get off my jock so hard.

RE: Need a reason to pay for ESPN+?
I plan on getting it at the start of the season. Disney is gonna offer a bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for 13 bucks. I already pay 6 bucks for Hulu, so getting ESPN+ for me and Disney+ for the kids for just another 7 bucks is a good deal for me.
