-Both true freshman D-Tackles listed. No Ben Leroy. Similar to Deveaux, Leroy could redshirt if he had to.

-True freshman walkon LB Walter Riley listed over Gay and Bonds among others. Pugh done for the season.

-Just about every cornerback has been listed at some point this year. Aitken done for the season.

Coach Novak used to have a Wild Blue Yonder Award for guys, typically walkons, who came out of nowhere to make an impact in spring ball. It's not spring but Riley would probably qualify. I don't know that he was even on the roster until school started. In fact he was still listed on the Robert Morris roster until a couple of weeks ago.
