This season the NBA is requiring teams to measure players heights without shoes on due to this same problem. Every team does it.

This makes zero sense to me. Was Michael Jordan 6’6 barefoot? Was Shaquille O’Neal 7’1 barefoot? Are they going to play pro basketball in their socks now? They are screwing up the history of the game if they do this. Measurements should be taken in full uniform.

OT - Horizon League announced their tv schedule. 6 games will be on ESPN2 or U.

Why is this relevant for us? I'd like to see how our CUSA schedule ends up compared to this, a conference that has been consistently rated much lower than ours the last couple of years.

Also, Horizon league's champion has the most games on ESPN2, I wonder if CUSA will do the same for us.

Which is probably the point. If CUSA cant do as well as the Horizon in media placements then that just adds fuel to the fire that Judy is the most incompetent leader of any athletics conference. Look at how badly this conference has fallen under her watch.

We are going to have trouble replacing Caver.

Talked to Coach this weekend. I asked him about the PG situation. He said they're both talented, both working hard, but there's a lot of information being thrown at them. He said Curry is ahead of Hunter, but we'll also see Wade play PG this year.

True, and I expect a few growing pains. However, I'm not expecting either of these guys to replace Caver. We should have enough scorers that the PG position can be a distributor with just enough scoring to keep defenses honest and we can still win.

I don't see that happening right now. At least not until AJO enters the picture in Dec.

Is it safe to assume Jeff throws Curry into the starting PG position for game one?

X and Kalu are locks to start and I would assume Godwin is as well. Is Oliver good enough to knock Godwin out of the starting 5 in January?

Any chance there are times where Jeff goes smaller and has Godwin, Oliver, X, and Kalu on the court at the same time?

Im not sure why you couldn't have that lineup along with a point guard.

Oliver certainly has the talent to be a starting caliber wing player.

Sounds to me like Curry or Wade will start the year at PG. My money is on Curry.

Curry, Godwin, Oliver, Xavier, and Kalu is a pretty nasty starting 5. My only concern is all three wings are on the court at the same time. Not necessarily a bad thing if we don't do wholesale subs, though. Wade can play 1-4 off the bench. Dickens can play the 4 and 5. Reece can probably play the 3 and 4. And Hunter can get some run where needed at PG.

The PG's are not Caver. Caver was the best player in the conference for the past two years. It will not be a weakness.
