But just like the Knicks, awful lack of postseason wins.

Actually they won a playoff game last year and got ripped off in the playoffs against the Packers over that Dez Bryant catch a few years ago.

They have been right on the doorstep most of the time since 2014. This may well be the year.

The Cowboys have been one of the best run and built franchises in the NFL the last several years. They draft extremely well, they don't waste money in free agency, they develop their young talent. They have built the current team in house and through the draft with smart picks like Tony Pollard that other teams were not really looking at.

Pollard was an ideal addition to this offense that was already loaded at QB and RB. But he adds depth, versatility, speed and a change of pace from Ezekiel Elliott.

All true. But, their head coach isn't very good. Sorry.

Its cool, The evidence doesn't really support that opinion. In fact its a total contradiction of everything you just agreed with.

He has played a major role in the draft and the building of the current roster, and the development of the current players. Bad coaches usually don't win 3 division crowns in 5 years (would be 4 if Romo had not broke his collarbone in 2015) and build talented rosters like this from the ground up.

You can give all the credit to Jerry Jones if you prefer though. lol

Pollard played so well that Dallas felt he could give them some quality minutes with Zeke out.
The more PT that Pollard could have gotten would have weakened Zeke's position in negotiations the longer it lasted.

I'm curious how many carries Pollard ends up with this year. I'm hoping for 160+ but that may be a stretch.

He is on pace for that right now though.

Since week 10 of last season, the Cowboys are 10-1 over that stretch. Best in the NFL.

RE: Tony Pollard A STAR in the making
Watching them in preseason (for a change), it was obvious they were going to score a lot of points when they got Zeke back. Not a fan, but they do look good.

I just don't think America has a team. I guess there are more Dallas fans than any other, but it's still very divided. Sort of like saying Team Biden is the Democrat's team. (Not going political, just an observation of a leading franchise in a crowded, much-divided field.)

Here is the origin of that nickname. I am just glad that a MEMPHIS TIGER is geting the publicity since that is good for our entire athletic program.

The nickname originated with the team's 1978 highlight film, where the narrator (John Facenda) opens with the following introduction: They appear on television so often that their faces are as familiar to the public as presidents and movie stars. They are the Dallas Cowboys, "America's Team".

I feel like that exact statement can be directly applied to every religious based comment you make. Isn't it a marvel how god makes it so where ever you happen to be born, the dominate religion of that area just so happens to be the only correct one. Funny, huh.

Same thing with "America's Team". You ask residents in the cities of each of the other NFL teams based in America and I bet you get a different answer as to which team is "America's Team".

Maybe get with the times and take a more modern view regarding this sport. While you're at it maybe consider updating your antiquated, barbaric, ridiculous views on religion too.

It takes an extra special kind of patheticness to have to resort to attacking a persons religion when discussing tiger related sports.

You actually went there. Talk about showing your true colors, WOW.

The cool part is much like my faith in the Bible and Jesus, the actual hard facts, evidence and numbers tend to support the case quite strongly. There are many haters who troll and don't like to hear that, but the facts are pretty clear for those looking at it objectively.

I'll say this though, I am DEEPLY honored that the first thing you think of concerning me is my faith in Christ and the Bible. It may make you look like the smallest and most pathetic poster on the board to drag that into this thread, but I personally am DEEPLY honored by it. Thank you!

As Jesus said, one of the greatest honors in this world or the next is for a Christian to be mocked for their open faith in Christ. Here we are talking about Tony Pollard and the Dallas Cowboys and you were so triggered you felt the need to attack and mock my faith in Jesus?

That was AWESOME! Praise Jesus and may His peace and precious blood bring you blessings.

MARANATHA!
